
Marketing Performance Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid

Hearst California Media is seeking a Marketing Performance Manager to support ongoing performance analysis, optimization recommendations and reporting for agency-level clients. This includes attribution tracking, paid media oversight, email production, and client-facing marketing insights. This role is responsible for turning data from sales, web analytics, paid media, email, membership, and attribution platforms into detailed analytics, problem solving, KPI optimization strategies, clear recommendations, accurate timely reports and polished executive-facing materials.
This person must be an integrated team member with the ability to monitor internal team member performance, forge strong partnerships to influence perception and generate desired actions and results. They must also have the ability to serve as a consultative post-sale partner, helping clients understand results, the reason to act on recommendations, and build a strong foundation for retention and account growth.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working across multiple marketing data sources, and able to explain performance trends in a way that helps stakeholders make informed budget, channel, creative, and campaign decisions.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in marketing, analytics, business, communications, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in California. The reasonable estimate is between $40,000 and $65,000. A final decision on the successful candidate's starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
