The Marketing Operations Manager is a key member of the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) Marketing team and supports the Director of Marketing Operations in developing, implementing, and continuously improving the department’s operational infrastructure.
This role helps establish consistent and scalable ways of working across the marketing department by developing and documenting workflows, strengthening project and portfolio management practices, optimizing marketing tools and technology, and improving visibility into priorities, capacity, project health, and performance.
Working collaboratively with marketing leaders, project owners, and cross-functional teams, the Manager translates operational needs into practical processes, tools, templates, and governance structures that help the department operate more efficiently and effectively. The position also provides project-management support across the department and directly manages select complex, cross-functional, or high-priority marketing initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Partners with the Director of Marketing Operations to develop, implement, and continuously improve the marketing department’s operational infrastructure and ways of working.
Assesses, develops, documents, andmaintainsworkflows, processes, standards, templates, and governance practices that improve efficiency, consistency, accountability, and collaboration.
Collaborates with marketing leaders, team members, and subject-matter experts toidentifyoperational needs and develop practical, scalable solutions.
Provides project-management support to marketing leaders and project owners, helping teamsestablishproject scope, roles, deliverables, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and decision-making needs.
Directly manages select complex, cross-functional, or high-priority marketing projects from initiation through completion,monitoringprogress, risks, decisions, and follow-through.
Supports management of the department’s project portfolio bymaintainingvisibility into priorities, project health, timelines, resource needs, risks, and dependencies.
Develops reports, dashboards, presentations, and leadership updates to support portfolio visibility, operational planning, and informed decision-making.
Supports resource and capacity planning byidentifyingworkload trends, competing priorities, constraints, and opportunities to improve how work is prioritized and assigned.
Supports the administration, optimization, governance, and adoption of marketing operations,project-management, and work-management tools.
Leads or supports the implementation of new processes, tools, and ways of working through documentation, communication, training, and change-management support.
Usesdata, feedback, and operational insights toidentifybottlenecks, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend continuous improvements.
Builds productive relationships across teams,facilitatesalignment, and appropriately escalates risks, barriers, or decisions to the Director of Marketing Operations or other leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Organizational Management, Quality,Marketingor related field isrequired
Licensure, Certification & Registration:
Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years in project management, performance improvement, marketing operations, process improvement, consulting, marketing, or related fieldrequired Experience working in healthcare, or another complex organization is preferred. Creative production project management experience preferred.

Pay Range:
$100,000.00 USD - $120,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
