Job Description

We are looking for a Marketing Officer to bring the M-KOPA Mobility brand to life across digital and on-ground channels as we scale our Mobility division across Kenya.

You'll work alongside sales, product, and partnerships teams in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same.

What You'll Do

  • Planning, executing, and tracking campaigns across digital and on-ground channels, from briefing creatives to scheduling, posting, and performance reporting

  • Writing copy and coordinating visuals for social media, email, SMS, WhatsApp, and sales materials

  • Planning and executing field activations, product demos, trade shows, and community events

  • Tracking campaign metrics and sharing market insights that shape strategy

  • Conducting competitor research and analysis and maintaining a regular reporting cadence

  • Tracking marketing spend across channels against awareness and sales conversion outcomes to maximise ROI

  • Managing records of marketing POSMs and branded merchandise

  • Collaborating with the sales team on lead generation and supporting partner marketing efforts

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nairobi, Kenya. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Operations – Mobility.

Expertise

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

  • 2–3 years of relevant marketing experience

  • Fluency in digital marketing tools - Meta Ads, Google Ads, Canva, Mailchimp, or similar

  • Strong written English; Swahili is a bonus

  • Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable taking initiative

  • Genuine curiosity about mobility, fintech, or clean energy in Africa
