Job Description

Marketing Officer

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric [Grade 12]
  • Have strong analytical abilities
  • Have strong (written and spoken) communication skills
  • Be a team player
  • Have the appetite and capacity to learn new skills
  • Have a degree either in a finance-related subject or in marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Updating the firm's website
  • Regular updates on social media
  • Coordinating deal announcements and submissions to agencies
  • Coordinately press releases, and drafting certain times of press releases
  • Coordinating media relationships, including specialty media and conference organizers
  • Coordinating the conference calendar of the firm, advertising at conferences, attendance, and conference meeting schedules
  • Coordinating events hosted by the Company (including client events at sports matches at weekends)
  • Collaboration with marketing colleagues at other IMAP firms
  • Project work, eg website design RFPs
  • Supporting senior management with all marketing initiatives
