The Program Marketing Specialist is an integral part of our team focused on growing our business reporting directly to the Marketing Director. The position is primarily responsible for the development and execution of all trade shows and events which includes all supporting activities (management, budgeting, scheduling, branding). The position is also responsible for incoming marketing requests from the business and/or customers related to product samples, literature, or ad hoc requests. This position requires the ability to work cross-functionally to execute marketing plans while maintaining alignment with corporate growth objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate all company trade show/event activities (domestic and international) including, but not limited to, vendor management, product orders, shipping, booth graphic design, booth staffing, show services, hotel arrangements for all attendees, etc.
• Track, manage, and maximize the annual trade show/event budget
• Onsite coordination with outside agencies/vendors to ensure trade show booths are shipped and built to expectations
• Direct the creation and execution of pre/post-show email campaigns by outside vendors including, but not limited to establishing messaging requirements, landing page creation, performance measurements, etc.
• Create video assets for trade show and social media use to increase brand awareness and reach, enhance the customer experience and lead generation
• Administer the product sample and literature fulfillment program which requires cross-functional coordination with Operations (Orlando manufacturing facility), Supply Chain, Accounting, etc. for sample and literature needs, shipping to customers and sales reps, etc.
• Identify emerging Marketing trends and competitive factors and proactively recommend how to leverage the information to grow our business
• Support Sales Team ad hoc Marketing requests
• Perform related duties or special assignments a directed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent
• 2-3 minimum years of professional work experience (trade show or event management experience a plus)
• Travel up to 50% of the time during peak event season
• Ability to balance working independently and influence others to achieve desired outcomes
• Strategic thinker with the ability to focus on important information and identify key details
• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
• Adobe Creative Suite proficient
• Salesforce CRM and/or HubSpot experience a plus
• Copywriting experience a plus
