Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager, Targeted Campaigns (Personal Lending Marketing) with a strong background in marketing execution within financial services or banking environments. This role supports the delivery of targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, direct mail, and digital channels, ensuring seamless execution from intake through launch.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional partners — including product, design, legal, compliance, analytics, and external agencies — to coordinate campaign activities, manage timelines, and ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, execution-focused marketing professional who thrives in structured environments, is highly organized, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced, process-driven organization.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Contract Length: 24 Months (Extension or FTE Conversion Possible)
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5 PM EST
Pay: T4: CAD 35 / IC: CAD 40


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage end-to-end execution of targeted marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and accurate delivery across multiple channels.
  • Coordinate campaign activities from intake through launch, including managing timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage targeting, segmentation, and data requirements in collaboration with analytics and CRM teams.
  • Act as a central point of coordination across internal stakeholders and external agency partners to ensure campaigns progress without delays.
  • Track campaign milestones, follow up on outstanding inputs, and proactively escalate risks to timelines or deliverables.
  • Manage creative development processes, including briefing agencies, reviewing assets, and ensuring alignment with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Support stakeholder review and approval processes, including legal and compliance, ensuring all requirements are met prior to launch.
  • Maintain detailed work plans and trackers to support prioritization, sequencing, and execution of campaign activities.
  • Assist in analyzing campaign performance by compiling results, generating reports, and supporting insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of marketing materials, providing feedback to maintain quality and adherence to standards.
  • Support budget tracking and campaign spend management, including invoice tracking and variance monitoring.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners through clear communication, organization, and reliability.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–3 years of progressive experience in marketing, preferably within financial services or banking.
  • Experience executing campaigns across multiple marketing disciplines, including CRM, email, digital, and direct marketing.
  • Strong understanding of campaign execution processes, including targeting, segmentation, and performance tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to executional excellence.
  • Ability to work in structured, process-driven environments with multiple dependencies.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented with strong follow-through.

Preferred

  • Experience working within large enterprise or regulated financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience working with agencies and managing creative development workflows.
  • Exposure to campaign performance reporting and marketing analytics.
  • Understanding of compliance and approval processes within financial services marketing.


Education

Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
