Job Description

Spotify is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our marketing strategy and execution in Taiwan. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can set strategy, lead integrated campaigns, create scroll-stopping social content, and make Spotify one of the most talked-about brands in one of Asia's most vibrant music markets.

Taiwan is the birthplace of Mandopop and a cultural tastemaker for the broader Chinese-speaking world. Growing the Spotify brand and business in this market demands genuine cultural fluency, a deep understanding of what resonates across social platforms, strong relationships within the music and creative industries, and the ability to turn insights into bold, locally relevant campaigns that grow our listener base and strengthen our connection with fans and artists.

Reporting to the SEA Head of Marketing, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams across Taiwan and the wider region to shape strategy, deliver impactful campaigns, and represent the Taiwan market at a regional and global level.

You'll partner with teams across Music, Growth, Communications, Business Development, Partnerships, and other functions to bring Spotify's brand to life in Taiwan and help unlock new opportunities for growth.

What You'll Do

  • Own Spotify Taiwan's consumer marketing strategy, driving free user acquisition, engagement, and Premium consideration
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, out-of-home, experiential, and earned media with ideas designed to spark conversation and deliver measurable business impact
  • Lead go-to-market planning for key product launches, seasonal campaigns, and major cultural moments
  • Localize global campaigns for Taiwanese audiences, ensuring every activation reflects genuine cultural relevance rather than simple translation
  • Use audience insights, market intelligence, and campaign performance data to inform decisions and continuously optimize marketing effectiveness
  • Measure, analyze, and communicate campaign performance to regional leadership through clear recommendations and actionable insights
  • Lead Spotify's Taiwan brand strategy in alignment with regional and global positioning while ensuring the brand feels authentic and locally meaningful
  • Partner closely with the Taiwan Music team to develop campaigns supporting priority local and global releases and create scalable marketing frameworks for label partners
  • Manage the Taiwan marketing budget, prioritizing investments that deliver the greatest impact
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with creative, media, production, and agency partners to consistently deliver high-quality work
  • Act as the voice of the Taiwan market, influencing regional and global stakeholders on campaign strategy, creative development, and market priorities
  • Who You Are

  • You have 6+ years of experience in consumer or brand marketing, with strong experience leading marketing initiatives in Taiwan
  • You have deep knowledge of Taiwan's music, entertainment, and cultural landscape, including Mandopop, emerging artists, internet culture, and local media
  • You have successfully led integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution that delivered measurable business results
  • You have created or led campaigns and social content that generated outsized reach, engagement, or cultural conversation relative to budget
  • You know how to use data and customer insights to develop business cases, evaluate campaign performance, and optimize future marketing investments
  • You have experience managing agencies, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • You have exceptional storytelling instincts and understand how to create culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with Taiwanese audiences
  • You communicate confidently with senior stakeholders and can influence decisions across regional and global teams
  • You are highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment
  • You have experience working within technology, media, entertainment, or other consumer-focused industries
  • You are fluent in both Mandarin and English, written and spoken
  • Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in Taipei
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home
