Job Description

Grounded in a talent-centric mindset, Maker Lab is a marketing agency designed to build decentralised technology-led agency teams, rooted in collaboration with clients from the ground up. Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production.

We are looking for a creative architect & execution engine for high-priority marketing & brand partnerships. Shifts focus on long-term, value-multiplying alliances. Responsibilities include end-to-end campaign lifecycle, from C-suite pitching & opportunity evaluation to leading execution, internal navigation, and performance reporting.

Role:

  • Lead the intake and initial vetting of all inbound marketing partnership opportunities against criteria including strategic alignment, brand fit, commercial viability, and policy risk.
  • Perform rigorous due diligence on potential partners, culminating in executive-ready go/no-go recommendation briefs for senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the Centre of Excellence's (CoE) master partnership pipeline, ensuring real-time status visibility and facilitating defined decision-making cycles.
  • Drive continuous market landscaping across relevant consumer sectors to proactively identify and source high-potential co-marketing and brand alliance targets.
  • Collaborate with internal product marketing teams to align organisational priorities with targeted outbound partnership strategies.
  • Design and champion tailored, integrated brand solutions and joint co-marketing value propositions in partnership with creative, media, and agency teams.
  • Create high-impact, visually compelling pitch decks, proposals, and strategic briefs for internal review and external C-suite engagement.
  • Own the execution of finalised marketing partnerships, converting high-level agreements into comprehensive campaign plans with defined milestones, assets, timelines, and ownership.
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for external partner marketing and agency execution teams.
  • Coordinate execution across complex internal organisational structures, engaging cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Brand, Creative, PR, Comms, Legal, and Media) to accelerate campaign velocity.
  • Enforce strict adherence to all internal brand guidelines, visual identity standards, tone of voice, and policy guardrails across all public-facing partner assets.
  • Proactively manage risks, identifying and resolving delivery bottlenecks, brand integrity concerns, or legal hurdles prior to public launch.
  • Develop and maintain campaign tracking dashboards, providing concise and structured progress updates (e.g., milestones achieved, tasks at risk) to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with insights and measurement teams to deploy accurate tracking frameworks, brand lift studies, and key performance indicators (KPIs) pre-launch.
  • Lead structured post-delivery reviews, compiling detailed debriefs that analyse actual vs. target ROI, overall performance, audience insights, and actionable recommendations for future strategy.
  • Directly contribute to the CoE’s operational playbook, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and standardised templates to build long-term, scalable institutional marketing knowledge.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of expertise in marketing partnerships, brand management, account management, brand solutions, or integrated campaign program management, specifically within the Indian market.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects, fostering consensus and driving execution across highly matrixed internal teams (including Product Marketing, Brand, Creative, PR/Comms, Legal, and Policy) in the absence of direct line authority.
  • Profound understanding of the Indian consumer internet market, digital media landscape, marketing ecosystems, and nuanced consumer behaviour across various audience segments.
  • Experience collaborating with or direct experience at a major media or creative agency/network.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and ensure compliance with data privacy policies, brand safety guidelines, and visual identity standards throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • Fluency in marketing metrics and campaign Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g., reach, engagement, brand lift, ad recall), with a track record of translating performance data into strategic and actionable insights.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
