Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, After Sales, the Marketing Manager, Non-Franchise After Sales leads marketing strategy, planning, execution, optimization, and performance measurement for AutoNation's non-franchise after sales businesses, including Mobile Service, AutoNation USA Service, and future after sales growth initiatives. This role oversees campaign planning and execution across all marketing channels and coordinates strategy and activity with the Senior Marketing Manager, After Sales to ensure non-franchise initiatives integrate with Franchise Service marketing, customer journeys, communications touchpoints, and the overall service experience. The Marketing Manager tracks and optimizes marketing strategy against business performance, customer behavior, market needs, and operational priorities to build initiatives that support customer acquisition, retention, service adoption, revenue growth, profitability, and organizational objectives.

The Marketing Manager, Non-Franchise After Sales reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, After Sales and works closely with internal marketing teams across Strategy & Planning, CRM, Digital, Brand, Analytics, Product, IT, Finance, and Legal, as well as Corporate Operations for AutoNation USA and Mobile Service, field teams, agencies, vendors, and third-party service providers. The Manager directly manages executive relationships for assigned non-franchise business lines and builds productive internal and external working relationships across corporate and field organizations, operations leadership, agencies, vendors, and other partners to align strategy with business priorities and support successful execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Develop and manage marketing plans for AutoNation's non-franchise after-sales businesses, including Mobile Service, AutoNation USA Service, and future after sales growth initiatives, aligning initiatives to customer acquisition, retention, service adoption, revenue growth, profitability, and market share goals.
  • Oversee campaign planning and execution across all marketing channels, including CRM, paid media, AI-enabled customer engagement, web, social, outbound programs, promotional programs, and local market activations.
  • Coordinate strategy and activity with the Senior Marketing Manager, After Sales to ensure non-franchise initiatives integrate with Franchise Service marketing, customer journeys, communications touchpoints, and the overall service experience.
  • Serve as the primary marketing partner for assigned non-franchise business lines and directly manage executive relationships, recommendations, and alignment with business priorities, market needs, and operational capabilities.
  • Lead campaign strategy, messaging, targeting, creative development, production, launch, post-launch quality assurance, optimization, and reporting across both field and corporate levels.
  • Develop promotional offer strategies and customer lifecycle programs that support customer acquisition, retention, reactivation, service adoption, and marketing efficiency.
  • Support new market, store, and service launch initiatives through go-to-market planning, customer communications, field readiness, and campaign execution.
  • Track, report, and optimize business performance, campaign results, customer insights, test results, market intelligence, and field feedback to identify risks, opportunities, and future marketing recommendations.
  • Identify and lead opportunities to improve the non-franchise customer journey, communications touchpoints, digital experience, and overall service experience in coordination with Franchise Service marketing.
  • Coordinate with corporate teams and external partners to ensure timely execution, including Operations, CRM, Digital, Analytics, Product, IT, Finance, Brand, Legal, agencies, vendors, and third-party service providers.
  • Manage marketing calendars, project plans, budgets, invoices, vendor documentation, and related executional processes.
  • Prepare marketing briefs, presentations, campaign documentation, executive ready materials, performance readouts, and other materials required for leadership review and decision-making.
  • Develop field communications, promotional materials, operational guides, and activation support to ensure successful execution across corporate and field teams.
  • Ensure marketing materials comply with legal, OEM, and AutoNation brand standards where applicable.
  • Support testing, rollout, and optimization of new marketing initiatives, customer engagement programs, products, services, partnerships, and business models as introduced while managing multiple concurrent projects, championing the company's vision, mission, and values, and performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of marketing management experience required.
  • Proven experience in automotive after sales, service, retail, multi-location marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, digital marketing, or related industries, with a focus on campaign development and execution.
  • Experience developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns across CRM, email, direct mail, paid media, web, social, outbound, and field channels.
  • Strong understanding of campaign planning, promotional strategy, customer acquisition, retention, lifecycle marketing, service journey optimization, and performance marketing.
  • Ability to align non-franchise growth initiatives with franchise customer journeys and coordinated enterprise marketing strategies.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and the ability to derive actionable insights tied to business performance, campaign results, customer behavior, market needs, ROI, and optimization opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to prepare executive ready recommendations and materials.
  • Strong project management, budget management, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to manage calendars, project plans, budgets, invoices, and documentation.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with corporate teams, operations leadership, field teams, agencies, vendors, and external partners.
  • Strategic thinker with a practical approach to execution, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving business environment and drive results across multiple stakeholders and emerging business lines.
  • Must meet company's requirements for employment.
