About Josys

Josys is a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup on a mission to simplify and automate IT operations for modern businesses. With a strong global presence and deep roots in Japan, we’re building a category-defining product and scaling rapidly across markets.

We’re looking for a strategy-first Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts in Japan. This role is focused on defining and driving marketing strategy, building strong product narratives, and scaling our presence in a competitive SaaS landscape.

You’ll play a key role in shaping how Josys is positioned in the Japanese market while working closely with global teams.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Define and drive the overall marketing strategy for Japan, aligned with business goals

  • Identify market opportunities, customer segments, and growth levers

  • Build localized GTM (Go-To-Market) strategies for Japan

Product Marketing

  • Develop clear, compelling, and localized product positioning and messaging

  • Translate product features into strong value propositions for the Japanese market

  • Partner closely with Product and Sales to ensure alignment on narratives

SaaS & Startup Growth

  • Build scalable marketing frameworks suited for a high-growth SaaS environment

  • Own demand generation strategy and pipeline contribution

  • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer insights to refine strategy

Events & Brand Presence

  • Plan and execute high-impact events, field marketing activities, and industry engagements in Japan

  • Own end-to-end event strategy, including ROI measurement

  • Strengthen Josys’ brand presence within the local tech ecosystem

Cross-functional & Global Collaboration

  • Work closely with global marketing, product, and leadership teams

  • Act as the bridge between Japan market needs and global strategy

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–8+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS

  • Strong experience in marketing strategy and product marketing

  • Deep understanding of the Japanese market and buyer behavior

  • Experience working in or with startup environments

  • Proven ability to build and execute GTM strategies

  • Experience managing events and field marketing initiatives

  • Strong communication skills (Japanese fluency required; English preferred)

  • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.
