About the role


This Marketing Manager – Brand Performance role sits within our Own Brand team. This is a 12-month secondment/ fixed-term full-time opportunity.


Joining a strategically important function within Coles Own Brand, you’ll lead strategic brand development and manage ongoing performance to deliver customer and brand growth. In this exciting role, you will utilise data led insights and gain end-to-end exposure across brand and product development, from shaping positioning through to driving performance.


It’s a great opportunity to lead change, influence outcomes, and work on brands that show up down our supermarket aisles, alongside a passionate, customer-first team.

What you will do


You will lead the development and execution of brand strategies across the Own Brand portfolio, using insights to drive performance, strengthen positioning, and deliver customer and commercial outcomes.


You will also


• Lead the development and delivery of brand strategy and plans, including inputs into yearly category planning
• Partner with product teams to embed brand guidelines into products and packaging• Monitor brand performance and translate insights into clear actions
• Work with creative teams to ensure consistent brand identity
• Support innovation and NPD initiatives and align to amplify across key Customer moments.

About You and Your Skills

You’re a commercially minded marketer with 3–5 years’ experience, at Marketing Manager level, with a strong foundation in consumer-focused brand management.

You’ve built or contributed to brand plans, launches, or innovation, and can confidently interpret performance data to inform decisions.

You bring experience working with customer insights, understand how to turn them into actions, and are comfortable influencing stakeholders and working cross-functionally. FMCG or customer-led retail experience will be highly regarded, along with a proactive, team-first approach.

• Exposure to customer insights and applying them to business decisions

• Strong project management and prioritisation skills
• The ability to use initiative and work autonomously.
