MARKETING MANAGER

Marketing & Business Development | ServiceMaster by Neverman

About the Role

The Marketing & Business Development Manager drives brand awareness, qualified lead generation, relationship marketing, and revenue growth across all ServiceMaster by Neverman divisions. This role connects marketing, sales, operations, and community engagement, delivering a consistent brand presence while advancing growth through digital marketing, event management, sales enablement, and strategic business development.

The Marketing Manager owns the planning, execution, and measurement of marketing programs; manages internal and external communications; supports business development initiatives; and cultivates strong relationships with industry organizations, referral partners, and community stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

· Increase brand visibility and market awareness across all service areas and divisions.

· Generate qualified leads and directly support revenue growth targets.

· Strengthen relationships with clients, referral partners, and industry associations.

· Equip sales teams with effective marketing tools, collateral, and resources.

· Maintain and elevate the company’s reputation and digital presence.

· Execute high-impact marketing campaigns, events, and community engagement initiatives.

· Ensure strategic alignment between marketing, sales, operations, and leadership.

· Measure, analyze, and report on marketing performance and ROI.

Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation

· Develop and execute integrated marketing plans aligned with company growth objectives.

· Manage annual marketing calendars, campaigns, and promotional initiatives.

· Plan and oversee lead-generation activities across digital, traditional, and relationship marketing channels.

· Manage marketing budgets and track campaign effectiveness against measurable KPIs.

· Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.

Sales Enablement & Business Development

· Create and maintain sales collateral, presentations, brochures, flyers, and digital marketing materials.

· Provide targeted marketing support across all sales team verticals.

· Coordinate promotional item purchasing, sourcing, and inventory management.

· Conduct weekly sales and marketing alignment communications for each vertical.

· Support business development through targeted campaigns, networking, and relationship-building activities.

Pre-Loss & Relationship Marketing

· Assist in cultivating relationships with referral sources, property managers, insurance professionals, facility managers, and key community partners.

· Serve as the marketing liaison for industry associations and member organizations, including BOMA, IREM, IFMA, OHLA, OALA, CAA, CAI, and other strategic organizations.

· Coordinate sponsorships, advertising placements, trade show participation, and networking events.

Digital Marketing & Online Presence

· Manage company social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, engagement, and performance monitoring.

· Oversee SEO and PPC strategies, budgets, and vendor relationships.

· Manage website content, updates, and ongoing optimization.

· Monitor and improve online reputation through review management across Google, Facebook, BBB, and other platforms.

· Implement email marketing campaigns and customer communication tracks.

· Track, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance and recommend continuous improvements.

Content & Brand Management

· Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.

· Create compelling social media posts, blog articles, newsletters, case studies, video, photography, and print marketing collateral.

· Utilize Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and other design tools to produce professional marketing assets.

· Coordinate professional photography and video projects, including site visits and company events.

· Protect and enhance the company’s reputation through proactive brand management.

Event & Community Marketing

· Plan, coordinate, and execute company-sponsored events, including Wake Up / Bowl with Neverman, Forgotten Holiday Party, Learn and Burn Continuing Education Course, ServiceMaster Appreciation Golf Outing, Annual Holiday Party & Employee Appreciation Events, and other client-related and organizational events.

· Manage trade show participation from initial planning through post-event follow-up.

· Coordinate golf outings, sponsorships, community events, and networking opportunities.

· Provide on-site operational support for marketing and business development events.

· Strengthen the company’s community presence through strategic engagement and sponsorship.

Internal & External Communications

· Develop and distribute employee communications, company updates, and the internal newsletter.

· Promote cross-departmental alignment through clear, consistent communication strategies.

· Develop customer-facing communications, marketing campaigns, and email marketing initiatives.

· Manage distribution lists and support public relations opportunities as appropriate.

Vendor, Partner & Corporate Program Management

· Manage relationships with marketing vendors, promotional suppliers, event venues, photographers, and advertising partners.

· Coordinate production and on-time delivery of marketing materials and promotional items.

· Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate cost-effective solutions.

· Manage ServiceMaster corporate marketing requirements, initiatives, and brand standards.

· Maintain documentation and reporting related to local marketing expenses.

· Coordinate co-op marketing programs and reimbursement submissions.

· Ensure all marketing activities comply with corporate brand guidelines.

Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities

· Collaborate closely with leadership, sales, operations, HR, and production teams.

· Develop marketing performance reports and dashboard summaries for leadership.

· Track KPIs including lead generation, campaign performance, event ROI, website traffic, social engagement, and brand awareness.

· Support onboarding and orientation for new sales team members.

· Maintain marketing systems, databases, and organizational tools.

What We’re Looking For

· 3+ years of marketing, business development, or communications experience.

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required.

· Demonstrated experience managing both digital and traditional marketing initiatives.

· Experience coordinating events, trade shows, and sponsorship programs.

· Familiarity with CRM, email marketing, social media management, and marketing analytics tools.

· Strong strategic marketing, planning, content creation, copywriting, graphic design, social media, SEO/PPC, event planning, relationship management, project management, data analysis, reporting, budget management, vendor negotiation, and communication skills.

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position, approximately 50% remote and 50% in-office and field-based. Attendance is required for designated office days, events, trade shows, and business development functions. Occasional evening or weekend participation is required for events and community activities.

Reporting Structure

· Reports to: Sales Director.

· Works closely with the Sales Team, Operations Team, Human Resources, Corporate Marketing Partners, Industry Organizations & Referral Partners, and Marketing Vendors & Suppliers.
