Whats The Role

The primary function of the role is to lead and own the end-to-end marketing function for the business — translating commercial and company strategy into integrated marketing plans across all Lines of Business (Fixed and Mobile), spanning brand, product marketing, digital, CRM and customer lifecycle marketing, and internal/external communications.

What You'll Do

  • Develop end to end marketing executions across cross functional teams including Advertising, brand communications, product marketing, PR and digital execution to ensure efficient and effective customer journey.
  • Implement the consumer and business marketing activities through end-to-end campaigns in all available channels
  • Own and lead the overall marketing strategy for the Line(s) of Business,including brand positioning, brand guidelines and brand vision, product marketing, and customer lifecycle/retention marketing for short- and long-term initiatives.
  • Manage promotional collateral, brand image and marketing content across all customer touchpoints.
  • Demonstrate clear understanding of the full marketing budget, objectives and commercial targets across Fixed and Mobile lines of business.
  • Prepare and manage budget and expense allocation against commercial objectives and targets.
  • Monitor and track ROI of all marketing campaigns. Report progress and analysis of effectiveness of plan and programs.
  • Review and challenge business cases, pricing adjustment or product related changes that adversely impacts customer journey.
  • Monitor and analyze commercial KPIs with associated corrective action (develop marketing and communication plans based on customer insights and/or commercial results), including customer lifecycle and retention marketing performance.
  • Leverage analytics data, digital trends, user behaviors, competitive audits evaluations to inform digital marketing approach.
  • Collaborate with strategy and creative teams to ensure that digital strategies and CRM/marketing automation activity are properly integrated within the larger marketing programs.
  • Drive post campaign implementation reviews to enable analysis of “lessons learnt” for future planning.
  • Work with central and local advertising, PR and communications agency partners to develop and execute integrated marketing in support of the annual marketing plan.
  • Lead and develop the marketing team and/or agency partners, ensuring capability, capacity and performance align with business priorities.
  • Own product marketing and go-to-market planning for new product and service launches across Fixed and Mobile lines of business.
  • Lead customer loyalty, retention and lifecycle marketing programmes, including CRM-driven personalization and campaign automation.
  • Act as a key lead for external and internal communications, including PR, media relations and corporate messaging, in collaboration with the Communications team.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing or a related field required; an advanced degree will be an asset.
  • 7-10 years of work experience in progressively responsible marketing leadership roles, spanning brand, digital, CRM and/or communications. Experience in Public Relations and managing direct reports or agency teams is a strong asset.
  • Experience in digital marketing, CRM and marketing automation platforms will be an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing customer engagement programs that contribute to positive brand perception.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, direct reports and/or external agency partners.
  • Knowledge of media channels to ensure we deliver the right message, right channel, right time
  • Ability to work with multiple teams to accomplish goals
