What You’ll Do

As our first Marketing Manager in Australia, you'll own Legl's marketing in the region end to end. We've launched, firms are buying and engaging, and the job now is to turn early traction into a repeatable engine: more of the right firms hearing about us, more of our install base using more of Legl, and a clear view of which marketing channels deserve greater investment as we scale.

• Build customer advocacy and community. Turn our first Australian firms into references, case studies and a peer network that other firms want to be part of.
• Own demand generation across events and digital. Sponsored industry events, our own hosted dinners and roundtables, webinars, paid, email and content. You'll decide the mix, run it, and know the cost per qualified conversation for each.
• Market into the install base. Work with Customer Success to grow accounts we already have: campaigns that drive adoption of products a firm hasn't bought yet, and that make expansion an easy conversation for CS to have.
• Run partner marketing for new logo acquisition. Build joint programmes with the partners who already have the trust of Australian firms.
• Experiment fast and pivot faster. Test channels with small, time-boxed bets. Execute based on ROI and impact.
• Be the voice of the Australian market inside Legl. What firms here care about, how they buy, what messaging lands and what doesn't - creating feedback loops into Sales, Customer Success, Product & the UK team.

This Role Is a Great Fit If You…

• Have run B2B marketing with real breadth: events, digital, content, partner and customer marketing, ideally as the only marketer or experienced early stage market launch.
• Can point to the activity that drove meaningful impact on revenue and commercial numbers.
• Are iterative by default. You think from first principles, experimenting, iterating, understanding and solving the problems in front of you.
• Are highly self-organised; balancing workstreams, updating the team around you, and asking for help when you need.
• Have marketed to professional services, legal, or another regulated audience, or you've shown you can learn a buyer fast.

This Role Is Not a Great Fit If You…

• Want a defined lane. This role is the whole marketing function in Australia, and you'll be doing the strategy and the setup of the event stand in the same week.
• Need a team around you to execute - there isn't one here (yet)!
• Measure marketing by activity. Events run and content published rather than pipeline, adoption and expansion.
• Operate from playbooks, rather than first principles.
