This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded marketer who thrives on turning insight into growth and enjoys shaping strategy, influencing key decisions and delivering measurable business results. In this agile, hands-on role, you will take ownership of the strategic and commercial growth agenda for three of the UK's leading South Asian food brands – Elephant Atta, Rajah and Patak’s – defining where the brands should play, how they can win and what actions will drive sustainable growth across categories, channels and customers. You will be someone who enjoys turning plans into action and has experience of the UK South Asian food market, enabling you to identify opportunities that resonate with consumers and deliver commercial success.
You will lead annual and three-year brand planning, oversee commercial performance and drive strategic growth projects, ensuring the brands deliver against ambitious sales, profit and market share targets. Working closely with cross-functional teams and a Senior Brand Manager focused on communications and brand building, you will translate consumer, category, customer and financial insights into clear commercial actions that improve performance. You will also identify opportunities across portfolio strategy, pricing, promotional effectiveness, innovation, channel expansion and customer activation, developing robust business cases that unlock sustainable growth. This is a highly visible role that requires a pragmatic, action-oriented approach, with the ability to move seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.
You will be an experienced FMCG marketer, ideally within the food sector, with a proven track record of developing strategy and delivering commercial results. You combine strong commercial acumen with a data-led approach and are comfortable analysing performance, managing P&L considerations and turning insights into practical actions that drive growth.
You have experience in brand strategy, commercial planning, pricing, promotions, portfolio management and innovation, together with the ability to lead complex projects from opportunity identification through to implementation and evaluation. You are a confident communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels, build strong cross-functional relationships and bring clarity to complex challenges.
You are a self-starter with a strong bias for action, accountability and delivery. Resilient, pragmatic and calm under pressure, you enjoy working at pace and have a genuine interest in the UK Ethnic Market. Just as importantly, you are a collaborative team player with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour.
If you are looking for an opportunity to shape the future of iconic brands while making a significant commercial impact, we would love to hear from you.
