About the role
As a Marketing Manager — Community Marketing Strategy & Influence, you will play a key role between marketing vision and the real customer experience. You will ensure that every touchpoint reflects TELUS’ distinctive strengths in a consistent, relevant, and impactful way across all channels.
This role involves designing and deploying 360° marketing strategies that support local market activation, community engagement, and customer acquisition. You will collaborate with multiple internal partners to ensure seamless execution, strong cultural alignment, and a consistent end-to-end customer experience.
1. 360° marketing strategy and localized go-to-market
Develop and execute localized marketing campaigns adapted to the realities of Quebec communities
Plan integrated go-to-market strategies for wireline and wireless offers in collaboration with stakeholders
Ensure the cultural relevance of messaging for targeted markets
Develop the tools and materials needed to support campaign and field event activation
Coordinate multichannel publishing (email, web, SMS) and perform quality control before launch
2. Customer communications and consumer journey
Develop communications aligned across the full customer journey, from awareness to loyalty
Manage pre- and post-acquisition communications, including awareness, consideration, conversion, onboarding, and retention
Write, plan, and adapt personalized communications (email, SMS, MMS) based on customer segments and journey stages
Analyze communication performance using metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates
Continuously optimize campaigns using A/B testing
Ensure consistency with the TELUS tone: authentic, clear, and engaging
3. Community engagement and influence
Manage communications and content related to local influencer strategies
Prepare clear creative briefs and ensure consistency of tone and messaging across all campaign assets
4. Market monitoring and strategic intelligence
Monitor telecommunications market trends in local Quebec markets
Analyze competitor positioning and messaging to identify opportunities for differentiation
Highlight our distinctive strengths in response to market evolution
Regularly share strategic insights with the team to support campaign adjustments
5. Digital, web, and compliance optimization
Update and optimize local web content
Improve calls to action to support online conversion
Ensure consistency between web content and personalized communications
Ensure compliance with applicable Canadian legal requirements
Track and communicate the results of digital optimizations
What you bring
You combine strong expertise in digital marketing with a strategic and disciplined approach. You understand the dynamics of the Quebec telecommunications market and know how to translate them into concrete, effective, and culturally relevant customer communications.

Required qualifications
Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, copywriting, or a related field.
4 to 6 years of experience in copywriting, multichannel marketing communications, and email/SMS campaign management.
Experience in web optimization and content marketing.
Strong knowledge of the Quebec market and its cultural realities.
Experience in competitive intelligence, an asset.
Technical skills
Excellent marketing writing skills: email, SMS, web content, promotional communications.
Knowledge of marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, an asset.
Knowledge of web and analytics tools: CMS, Google Analytics, basic HTML, an asset.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or Jira.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Google Alerts or social listening tools.
Interpersonal skills
Excellent spoken and written French and English.
Strong attention to detail and quality control rigor.

Intermediate knowledge of French is required because you will on a regular basis interact in French with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues,internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its provincial scope.
