Job Description

Marketing Manager

Department: Marketing

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: Cardiff, UK

Reporting To: Head of Marketing - Contractor Management

SafePlanet is a carbon reporting solution that helps organisations measure and manage their supply chain emissions, providing trusted, audit-ready data to support compliance and sustainability goals. Built alongside SafeContractor, it enables businesses to extend their risk management approach into environmental performance and Scope 3 reporting.

Through a simple, guided process and independent validation by carbon experts, SafePlanet ensures data is accurate, standardised, and easy to share—giving organisations clear visibility of their carbon impact and enabling more informed, responsible decision-making.

We’re looking for a commercially minded and creative Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for SafePlanet across the UK contractor management sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of integrated marketing campaigns that directly influence brand growth, customer engagement, and commercial success. Sitting at the heart of the business, you’ll play a key role in shaping how SafePlanet is positioned in the market — building awareness, generating demand, and supporting the wider commercial team in driving adoption across key audiences.

What that means day to day

  • Lead and deliver the SafePlanet go-to-market strategy across the UK contractor management market, aligning campaigns to commercial priorities and audience needs.
  • Develop and optimise integrated marketing campaigns across digital, web, social, email and paid channels to drive awareness, lead generation and customer adoption.
  • Partner with product, commercial and operational teams to translate proposition capabilities into clear, compelling messaging and customer-focused marketing materials.
  • Create and manage content and sales enablement assets including campaign materials, web content, email journeys, webinars, case studies and sales collateral.
  • Collaborate with specialist marketing teams across digital, content, web and social to deliver high-performing campaigns while maintaining ownership of SafePlanet marketing performance.
  • Track, analyse and report on campaign and market performance, using insights, customer feedback and competitor activity to drive continuous improvement and growth.

What you’ll need to be successful

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring proven experience within a B2B marketing environment, with a strong track record of owning and delivering go-to-market strategies and integrated campaigns. You’ll be confident working cross-functionally with product, sales and operational teams, translating technical or product detail into clear, compelling customer messaging and commercially focused content.

You’ll have experience delivering multi-channel marketing activity across digital, content, email, web and sales enablement, alongside excellent project management skills that allow you to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence across the business.
