Job Description

Be part of the journey!

Our mission is to be the preferred airline of our customers and our team.

Open-mindedness, concern for others, intelligence at work and, above all, a healthy dose of fun enable us to achieve great things every day. Our dedication has earned us the title of the world's best leisure airline multiple times, and we’re just getting started.

Want to join us? You will have the chance to enjoy exclusive travel privileges to explore the world and create unforgettable memories. You will also have the opportunity to work in a modern, inspiring environment.

As the Marketing Manager at Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing local and national marketing activities for brands such as Voyages Transat, Transat Travel, Club Voyages, Marlin Travel, Travel Plus, Groupes et Cie, as well as a network of travel agencies affiliated with TDC. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Marketing, Communications and Events, you will lead a dynamic team consisting of two marketing specialists, a content specialist and a marketing coordinator. Your mission will be to strengthen brand presence in the market, lead digital transformation projects, develop brand platforms for the network's banners, support TDC member agencies in their marketing efforts, and drive sales growth by leveraging best practices and emerging tools, including artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the internal marketing team on a daily basis, ensuring project management according to timelines and communicating progress.
  • Design local and national marketing plans covering all channels, with an emphasis on email communications and digital channels.
  • Lead high-impact digital transformation projects (website redesign, CRM platform migration, etc.), from requirements documentation to vendor management and implementation oversight.
  • Develop and deploy brand platforms for the network's banners in collaboration with external creative agencies, ensuring visual and strategic consistency across all channels.
  • Organize and deploy an annual co-op marketing calendar with preferred partners, including managing strategic partner relationships across the network.
  • Design and execute a content and social media strategy to increase brand presence on digital platforms and support members in developing content for their own channels.
  • Plan and optimize digital campaigns (SEM, paid media, social media) in collaboration with the performance marketing team, managing budgets and analyzing performance to maximize return on investment.
  • Manage the network's marketing programs and develop a marketing value report for agency owners, demonstrating the return on investment of services offered by TDC.
  • Integrate artificial intelligence as a driver of efficiency and innovation in the team's marketing processes: task automation, data analysis, campaign optimization, competitive intelligence, and team coaching in the adoption of these tools.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and dashboards, providing strategic analysis and recommendations to decision-makers, while ensuring sound budget management in collaboration with the finance department.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in marketing, including at least two years in a team management role, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to the services sector.
  • Experience in brand development, including creative brief design, evaluation of creative proposals, and management of external vendors and agencies.
  • Experience in CRM program management and understanding of customer data management tools for segmenting, targeting, and personalizing communications.
  • Advanced digital marketing skills, including SEM, content marketing, paid media, and social media management, with demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and analyzing digital campaigns.
  • Concrete experience or demonstrated affinity with the use of artificial intelligence in a marketing context, beyond content production: automation, data analysis, campaign optimization, or project management.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and proficiency with collaborative project management tools.
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
  • Oral and written fluency in French and English*.
  • Experience in the travel or tourism services industry (an asset).

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.
