Job Description

About Synechron

Synechron is a global digital consulting firm that helps leading organisations accelerate transformation through technology, data, and innovation. With 16,500+ professionals across 60 offices in 20 countries, we combine deep industry expertise with advanced capabilities in AI, cloud, cybersecurity, digital engineering, and data. Our teams deliver scalable, high-impact solutions through regional expertise supported by global delivery capability. Through our award-winning FinLabs accelerators and strategic partnerships with AWS, Microsoft, Databricks, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, we enable organisations to innovate faster and operate with confidence.

The role

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to be the operational engine of marketing in Australia and New Zealand. You'll work directly with our most senior regional marketer to plan and execute
the marketing programs that support our sales teams, deepen our relationships with key clients and partners, and build Synechron's profile in the local market.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with high autonomy. Our global marketing organisation provides deep specialist support — brand, creative, content, digital, and PR — but timezone differences mean local pace and local judgment sit with you. You'll be the person who makes things happen on the ground.

What you'll be doing

You'll own the planning and execution of our regional marketing calendar — events, account-based programs, partner co-marketing, executive engagement, and field campaigns. You'll work closely with sales leadership and individual sellers to align marketing support to account priorities, building on our LAUNCH engagement framework. You'll be the single point of accountability for marketing in-region, even when the work is delivered by global teams.

Day to day, that looks like:

  • Running our regional event calendar end-to-end — from strategy and sponsorship decisions through to logistics, on-site delivery and post-event follow-up
  • Partnering with sales leaders to translate account plans into committed marketing actions, and tracking delivery against them
  • Briefing and orchestrating global creative, content, and digital teams to produce ANZ-specific assets and campaigns
  • Owning relationships with local partners (hyperscalers, ISVs, advisory firms) and running co-marketing programs
  • Managing our local PR and analyst engagement in partnership with the global PR team
  • Producing tight, well-written briefs, internal updates, and stakeholder communications
  • Tracking, reporting on, and improving the impact of regional marketing investment

We're looking for

You bring 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology, professional
services, or consulting — and ideally with exposure to financial services. You've run field and account-based marketing programs before, and you know how to align them to a sales motion. You're a strong project manager who can hold multiple workstreams at once without dropping anything.

You write clearly and quickly. You're comfortable in commercial conversations with sales leaders.
You know how to brief creative and content teams to get great work without micromanaging. You've worked in or around a matrixed global organisation, and you understand both the leverage it offers and the navigation it requires.

Most importantly, you take ownership. You see what needs doing and you do it — without being
asked, and without waiting for permission you don't need

What we'd love to see (but aren't essentials)

  • Experience marketing into BFSI customers in ANZ
  • Direct experience with hyperscaler partner programs (AWS, Microsoft, Google)
  • Comfort with marketing automation platforms and CRM
  • Lightdesign and content production skills (Canva, Figma) for quick turnarounds

Why join Synechron

  • Continuous learning and professional development opportunities

  • Mentoring and career progression pathways
  • Employee recognition programs and awards
  • Corporate discounts and wellbeing initiatives
