Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Area Director of Marketing, our new Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting and facilitating the delivery of the marketing and communications strategy across our three Cairns hotels.

This exciting and dynamic role supports the continued growth, positioning and promotion of Crystalbrook Riley, Crystalbrook Bailey and Crystalbrook Flynn — three innovative, sustainably led hotels with their own distinct personality and guest experience.

You will manage the day-to-day marketing and communications activity for the Cairns portfolio, providing strong support to the Area Director of Marketing while working collaboratively with key leaders across hotel operations, food and beverage, events, revenue and sales.

This is a broad and hands-on marketing role covering brand, communications, public relations, digital and social media, advertising and CRM activity It will suit someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and knows how to turn creative ideas into meaningful commercial outcomes.

Skills and experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline.
• Previous brand marketing experience, with a strong understanding of commercial marketing principles.
• Naturally proactive, organised and energetic with a dynamic approach to marketing performance.
• You will bring strong digital marketing experience with proven capability across paid media, SEO, website content. analytics and campaign optimisation.
• Creative and forward-thinking, with a head full of ideas and a strong understanding of modern communication drivers.
• Commercially aware, with the ability to connect marketing activity to brand awareness, engagement and business outcomes.
• Positive, collaborative and team-centric, with the confidence to work across multiple departments and stakeholders.
• Previous hotel, hospitality, tourism or lifestyle marketing experience would be highly regarded.
