Assists Director of Marketing with developing monthly, quarterly and annual property level strategic plans and oversees various components of the following marketing functions: Promotions, Special Events, and Advertising. Works closely with Casino Marketing to create exceptional experiences for our target customers within our financial guidelines.
Works closely with Director of Marketing in the development, execution and analysis of effective marketing programs targeted to existing and new customers, including all customers of the Horseshoe, Harrah’s and Caesars brands.
Responsible for increasing revenue on a year-over-year basis while maintaining the appropriate cost structures.
Responsible for Lounge Marketing Operations.
Establishes, maintains and controls department budgets for Promotions & Events and Advertising.
Manages all marketing programs and activities to ensure accuracy and integrity of all direct mail offers, offer redemptions, customer lists and customer records.
Supports all operating departments and marketing functions to ensure needs are met in a timely manner and all marketing deadlines are met.
Develops, manages and has accountability for the annual promotions and casino events marketing plan and yearly budget. Contacts and develops plans with corporate representatives to support and execute appropriate brand marketing programs.
Works with corporate marketing and/or surrounding advertising or media in regard to local marketing strategies.
Interfaces with agencies, divisional and corporate marketing regarding local marketing strategies.
Serves as a leader for Team Members while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication, while maintaining or increasing EOS/SFS metrics
Achieves desired results in all areas of responsibility through staff development and training programs, established methods, procedures and guidelines to maintain desired standards, and high-quality service. Then, monitors results through inspection, evaluation and analysis. Makes changes if necessary to achieve end results.
Management accountability for all Team Members for day-to-day and long-term operations to include hiring, training and developing Team Members which include coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management up to and including separation.
Supports all operating departments and marketing functions to ensure needs are met in a timely manner and all marketing deadlines are met.
Manages and ensures appropriate level of inter- and intra- departmental communication of all marketing activity.
Allocates resources to areas that create value and service to our guests and to Harrah’s & Horseshoe.
Presents oneself as a credit to Company and encourages others to do the same.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from a four-year accredited college or university with major course work in business or related field preferred.
2 years progressively more challenging role in marketing or operations with lead or supervisory experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Good oral and written communication skills including tact when dealing with difficult customers, must be fluent and literate in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational ability.
Ability to perform effectively under significant pressure typically associated with meeting the demands and timetables of the gaming industry.
Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Access and Microsoft Outlook.
Knowledge of player tracking systems (CMS/WINet/SMART and other databases)
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
Ability to understand and analyze Budget & P&L Statements.
Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors.
Ability to stand and walk, and mobility to move easily around entire property for entire shift. Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 20 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
Must be able to maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance and uphold the company appearance standards.
Adheres to departmental and company policies and maintains compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack. Must be able to run on level surfaces, as well as, up and down stairs.

Must be flexible with schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Will be subject to call 24 hours in case of emergency or facility need.
