Marketing Manger

Glasgow HQ, 320 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, G2 5AD

Salary from £40,400 - £50,500 per annum

As a Marketing Manger, you’ll manage, develop & implement engaging content, communications, and direct marketing campaigns. You’ll also support & develop innovative customer journeys throughout the exploration, consideration & purchase phases.

In a rapidly changing customer business, this role may involve working across different segments within the ScottishPower customer portfolio, as required.

What you’ll be doing

  • Constantly prioritise and refocus your workload against the wider product & marketing roadmaps/stakeholder requirements
  • Create and manage message, journey and creative testing with meaningful outputs and clearly defined next steps
  • Deliver communications & supporting journeys to educate, inform and convert customers within exploration, consideration, nurture & purchase phases.
  • Work independently, with accountability to the marketing manager
  • Analyse and utilise customer insight to create direct marketing communications and web content to support wider strategy
  • Complex problem solving for customer engagement and journeys
  • Consider regulatory, legal and compliance within all content and communications being developed
  • Adhere to brand guidelines
  • Support on partnership marketing requirements as directed

What you’ll bring

The following skills, knowledge and experience are required:

  • Excellent communication skills & confident stakeholder management
  • Previous roles held in corporate environment / product marketing
  • Significant experience in marketing communication/product marketing role
  • Experience of working with marketing agencies, ability to develop compelling briefs & confidence to challenge deliveries
  • B2C experience (preferably in utilities or similar regulated market)
  • Strong analytical & problem solving
  • To adapt to constant change and be comfortable in a super-fast paced environment and stakeholder demands
  • Numerate and analytical
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • PC Literate
