Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with a strong background in digital marketing, campaign management, and integrated marketing strategy to support the delivery of end-to-end marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional partners — including business, product, agency, legal, and compliance teams — to execute campaigns, optimize performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and is comfortable translating data and research into actionable marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and acquisition.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
Contract Length: 12 Months (Extension or FTE Conversion Possible)
Hours: 9 AM–5 PM EST


Pay: t4: $46.88/hr // IC: $53.85/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute end-to-end marketing campaigns and initiatives, from strategy development through launch, optimization, and reporting.
  • Support paid and non-paid digital marketing programs, including campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Translate business objectives, research, and data insights into actionable marketing strategies and communication plans.
  • Develop tailored messaging and identify appropriate distribution channels to effectively reach target audiences.
  • Review campaign materials to ensure compliance with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Monitor campaign performance against defined KPIs and recommend optimizations to improve outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Legal, Compliance, and external vendors.
  • Participate in the development of communication strategies designed to influence customer behavior and support business goals.
  • Ensure all communications are clear, consistent, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in marketing processes, tools, and campaign execution.
  • Work independently on multiple complex campaigns while managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Provide regular updates on campaign performance, risks, and issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Support problem-solving efforts and contribute to innovative marketing solutions.
  • Stay current on emerging marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and recommend their application where relevant.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4–5+ years of progressive experience in marketing strategy and campaign management, either on the brand side or within an agency environment.
  • Proven experience executing integrated marketing campaigns, including paid media and digital advertising.
  • Experience working with or managing advertising agencies and external partners.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information into clear, audience-focused messaging.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, campaign analytics, and reporting platforms.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) required.
  • Native or business-level proficiency in Chinese (traditional and simplified) required.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting newcomer or multicultural market segments.
  • Background working within large enterprise or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with integrated marketing planning frameworks and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within marketing or communications functions.


Education

  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
