Please note: This role is offered on an initial 12-month basis with the potential for extension as the department continues to evolve.

We're looking for a talented Marketing Manager to lead the development and delivery of marketing programmes and communications that support Ford Credit Bank's sales objectives and contribute to Ford of Britian's overall market share ambitions.

This role plays a pivotal part in shaping how Ford Credit products and services reach customers and dealers across the UK. You’ll work closely with teams across Ford Credit Bank, Ford Credit Europe, Ford of Britain, and our agency partners to deliver impactful, compliant, customer‑focused marketing activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of marketing programmes and communications that support sales targets and Ford of Britain’s share objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Ford Credit Bank, Ford Credit Europe, Ford of Britain, and external agencies.
  • Support the full go‑to‑market process for Ford Credit products and services, ensuring alignment with wider Ford strategies.
  • Represent Ford Credit Bank in dealer forums focused on Ford Credit products and services.
  • Lead the creation and rollout of new and used retail marketing programmes, incentives, overlays and launch materials.
  • Deliver Take to Market activity for new Ford vehicles—including integrated pre‑launch activity with Ford of Britain—and provide innovative dealer marketing communications.
  • Drive the digital strategy for Ford Credit and Ford Lease, overseeing promotional and product content on ford.co.uk.
  • Ensure all finance content and online customer journeys on ford.co.uk are accurate, customer‑friendly and compliant with Financial Promotions regulations, working closely with agencies and legal teams.
  • Lead customer‑facing communications delivered with Ford of Britain, including in‑dealership materials and digital content such as product animations.
  • Control the Ford Credit and Ford Lease marketing budget, ensuring efficient spend and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Represent Ford Credit Bank on committees and forums across Ford Credit Europe, Ford Credit Bank and Ford of Britain.

The minimum requirements we seek:

  • Sales experience and recent operational experience.
  • Strong marketing experience, ideally within financial services, automotive, or a complex multi‑stakeholder environment.
  • A detailed understanding of dealer sales processes.
  • Excellent change‑leadership skills with the ability to influence, engage, and bring others on the journey.
  • In‑depth knowledge of the UK automotive industry (or the ability to demonstrate rapid sector learning).
  • Understanding of Ford Credit’s and Ford’s corporate compliance and controls framework, plus knowledge of the UK Consumer Credit Act, Consumer Dutyand relevant FCA regulations.
  • Ability to simplify complex scenarios and convert them into strategic, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong analytical capability, including advanced Excel skills and the ability to use data to drive strategy, assess performance and deliver insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and deliver tangible operational or strategic change.
  • Previous experience in a people‑leadership role.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with Ford of Britain systems and processes.
  • Experience using Alteryx.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain relationships with dealer groups, Ford of Britain and other key partners.
  • A track record of innovative thinking, creativity and challenging the status quo.

This position is based in Dunton, and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the Dunton office for typically 4 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements.
