Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing Manager to drive integrated marketing strategies for Evotec Verona. This role will play a key part in raising awareness, driving demand, and supporting strategic growth objectives by translating scientific and commercial goals into compelling marketing programs. Based at our Verona site, the role works closely with cross-functional teams across Strategic Marketing, Business Development, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Program Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on brand positioning, awareness, and demand generation.

  • Design targeted, multi-channel campaigns tailored to customer segments, services, and geographical regions.

  • Leverage scientific knowledge, competitive and market insights to inform strategic decisions and shape impactful messaging and campaign direction.


Content Creation & Channel Management

  • Oversee creation of marketing materials across channels (social media, web, SEO, video, print, exhibitions) ensuring consistency across channels and adherence to branding guidelines.

  • Produce and manage content such as product sheets, flyers, blogs, whitepapers, videos, and newsletters in collaboration with internal and external resources.

  • Foster thought leadership by positioning our pre-clinical development business and Evotec as innovators in the field.


Collaboration & Event Support

  • Work closely with SMEs and in cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, and external agencies to develop and implement marketing campaigns.

  • Support conference planning, workshops, and events in coordination with the Events and Sales teams.


Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report KPIs to evaluate performance and improve marketing ROI.

  • Conduct competitive analysis, customer surveys, and satisfaction assessments to inform marketing direction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in B2B marketing in the life sciences, biotech, pharma, diagnostics, or healthcare industries.

  • Strong track record of planning and executing successful marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Skilled in digital marketing (SEO/SEM, CRM platforms, social media, automation tools).

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.

  • Collaborative team player with strong project management and communication skills.

  • Business fluent in English and strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.
