Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management, marketing, business informatics or related fields,
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration will be an asset,
  • Minimum +10 years of experience in marketing and relevant departments, +5 years of people management experience of at least +5 direct reports,
  • Having experience in chemicals, durable goods and/or paints & coatings industries with commercial understanding,
  • To be able to use MS Office Programs, SAP and BI,
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, communication and presenting, problem solving, project and time management, commercial and business acumen, strong understanding of cross functional processes and financial concepts related to marketing, working & impacting locally & globally/regionally skills,
  • Strong people management skills,
  • To be able to develop objectives and make strategic decisions and recommendations based on facts, market trends and experience/knowledge,
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods,
  • Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels.
  • Translation of the commercial unit strategy and building commercial marketing strategy of local business,
  • Building the strategic short term and long term commercial strategy and operating plans of the company,
  • Building the strategy on product portfolio and managing the local value engineering, complexity & sustainability agenda,
  • Reviewing the regional product portfolio and managing the value engineering, complexity & sustainability agenda,
  • Developing actions to increase value & volume market share,
  • Building the pricing strategy aligned with the competitive landscape and the cost consideration,
  • Managing the marketing communications strategy & plans, providing expertise in product and customer related communication tools and channels, consistent messages, branding and interpretation of corporate identity initiatives,
  • Management of the always-on strategies & plans,
  • Accountable for business communication policy and guidelines, incl. corporate branding, visual identity regarding product and customer communications,
  • Initiating and working (hands on) with business / promotional / communication events,
  • Defining a plan to execute the strategies for product portfolio / segments / markets,
  • Keeping up to date with market trends, competition, dynamics and maintain contacts,
  • Identifying new customer needs and set goals for new product development,
  • Being responsible for People management/Talent management.
