Are you passionate about building global brands and bringing entertainment experiences to life beyond games? We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Transmedia & Brand Licensing team for a 12-month parental leave cover in Espoo, Finland.
In this role you will help grow the Angry Birds brand across licensing, consumer products, and location-based entertainment experiences around the world. Working closely with SEGA’s Transmedia divisions, global licensing agents, and our internal teams, you will play a key role in strengthening brand visibility in licensing and supporting our partners in delivering exciting experiences for fans everywhere.
This is a highly cross-functional position where marketing, business development and partnership management meet. You will contribute to the success of Rovio’s global licensing business by creating impactful B2B sales materials, supporting international partners, and ensuring our brand shines across industry events and trade media.
You will report to the Head of Brand Licensing, and collaborate closely with teams across Transmedia, Licensing, and Games.
This position is located in our Espoo (Finland) studio. We are not offering relocation support for this role.

You’ll have an impact and fun at work by:

  • Creating and overseeing high-quality B2B marketing and sales materials that support our licensing and partnership initiatives.
  • Driving brand visibility across key industry licensing exhibitions and events, representing Rovio and the Angry Birds brand to global partners.
  • Developing and executing local marketing initiatives together with SEGA and our global licensing agents.
  • Managing global trade media visibility in licensing, including editorial placements and advertising 
  • Supporting the Marketing Specialist in executing licensee campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Acting as the primary account manager for Rovio’s global Location Based Entertainment (LBE) partners, supporting ongoing projects and ensuring successful collaboration.
  • Managing and progressing the LBE business development pipeline together with the Head of Brand Licensing.
  • Working closely with internal teams across Transmedia, Licensing and Games to ensure alignment between licensing initiatives and the broader brand strategy.
  • Supporting SEGA’s Transmedia teams and our global licensing agents in bringing Rovio’s brands to new audiences.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Solid experience working in an international business environment.
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in international client or account management.
  • Strong experience in B2B marketing and creating compelling sales or pitch materials.
  • Experience in brand licensing, consumer products, or the entertainment industry.
  • Experience managing offline and online B2B marketing campaigns.
  • A strong visual eye for design and presentation quality.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
