About the Role

Essity is looking for an experienced marketing leader in both product/branding to grow its compression portfolio in the US. The role is a pivotal role in defending its market leadership and drive clarity in understanding positioning and strategy for retention and new customer adoption in the United States.

The ideal candidate should/could live in Charlotte.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Owner of Health & Medical Compression therapy profit and loss, strategy development and execution resulting in profitable market share development​.
  • Invests and manages a team of 3 marketers.
  • Manage A&P budget, analyze ROI effectiveness of initiatives across 5Ps, execute corrective actions
  • A data-driven approach to marketing, demonstrating strong analytical skills as well as passion for product analysis, competitive analysis, and market dynamics
  • Develop compelling narratives and value propositions
  • Drive company positioning and messaging through developing relationships at industry events and professional associations.
  • Excellent collaborator and communicator aligning forward movement across departments on product and marketing strategies
  • Identifies and supports generation of required clinical evidence for allocated product range and therapy areas​
  • Partners with education partners in ensuring brands are leading in health care professional education.​
  • Provides product development and brand communication feedback to the global brand strategy​

Qualifications:

Required education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Demonstrated 5-year work experience in marketing at consumer goods or healthcare organization.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with strong forward lean
  • Collaborative leadership style
  • Strong utilization of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Professional business acumen
