The position will include a mix of:
Brand management (Adamance, Chocolatree)
Multi-brand project management (distributor marketing programs, assisting other Brand Managers on various tasks)
Digital Marketing (paid social media ads, lead campaigns, etc.)
The Intern will be fully integrated in the company’s and Marketing team’s projects and events, collaborating with HQ (in France), our local team across the US & Canada, agency & external partners, as well as our customers (Chefs and distributors). They will report to the Marketing Director.
Main functions/duties:
Is responsible to monitor and advise on the 4Ps for each brand's portfolio (Adamance & Chocolatree)
Coordinates with Channels Senior Manager the best road to market/ distribution strategy for all products
Monitors product performances (including profitability) and applies corrective actions when needed
Pilots the launch of new products in North America (including custom items), defining optimal portfolio matching market needs, channels, customer categories, with a multi-category management approach
Manages the creation and maintenance of marketing material
Plans, organizes and attends events (trade shows, technical events, PR)
Goes in the field to maintain closeness to the market needs & trends and support the sales team
Assists Marketing Director & Brand Managers on various topics: distributor marketing programs, swag creation, Digital Marketing campaigns
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in progress
Location: Dumbo- Brooklyn (at least 3 days at the office per week)
Travel requirements: occasionally, to various off-site locations
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Good knowledge of the marketing mix variables
Able to work in autonomy, go-getter and proactive attitude
Solid project management skills
Attention to details, comfortable with data analysis
Excellent writing + copywriting skills
Customer service minded and great team player
As this position is in regular touch with the HQ Marketing team based in France, speaking and/or understanding French is a plus but not necessary
Must be available to work occasional weekends and evenings when participating in company trade or vendor shows; or customer-related events
