Marketing Executive – International Events Industry

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON | Office-Based

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 CAD + Commission

The Opportunity

As a Marketing Executive, you'll support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across our North American events.

You'll work across multiple channels, including email marketing, social media, digital campaigns, website content and event promotion.

Working closely with Sales, Operations and the wider Marketing team, you'll help deliver campaigns that increase awareness, generate registrations and drive attendance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns
• Creating and scheduling engaging social media content
• Managing email marketing campaigns and communications
• Supporting website updates and content creation
• Assisting with the promotion of upcoming exhibitions
• Creating marketing materials, graphics and promotional assets
• Supporting audience growth and visitor registration campaigns
• Analysing campaign performance and reporting on results
• Researching marketing trends and competitor activity
• Maintaining consistent brand messaging across channels
• Working closely with Sales and Events teams
• Supporting marketing activity during live events

Who We're Looking For

• Previous experience in marketing, digital marketing or a related role
• Strong written communication and copywriting skills
• Experience using social media platforms professionally
• An understanding of email marketing and digital campaigns
• Creative thinking and attention to detail
• Good organisation and project management skills
• Comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines
• Proactive, enthusiastic and willing to learn
• An interest in events, business and commercial marketing

Experience with platforms such as Canva, HubSpot, Mailchimp, WordPress or similar marketing tools would be advantageous.
