We are proudly the world's largest marketer of kiwifruit, selling kiwifruit in more than 50 countries. We work with around 2,800 New Zealand and 1,500 international growers and post-harvest companies to source the best-quality Zespri Kiwifruit which we supply through our distribution partners to wholesale and retail customers. We are one of New Zealand's best-known international brands, dedicated to creating sustainable long-term value for growers.

At Zespri, we are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Executive to join our European Marketing team, with a key focus on the Benelux market. Reporting to the Marketing Manager Benelux, this is a hands-on role where you’ll help bring the Zespri brand to life across consumer touchpoints, support sales growth, and contribute to standout marketing activity in one of our important European markets.

You’ll be involved in the planning, execution and monitoring of marketing campaigns, supporting both ATL and BTL activity across channels including social media, PR, influencer marketing, consumer activation, digital content, CRM, websites, microsites, health programmes and school initiatives. You’ll work closely with local agencies, the wider European Marketing team, the Benelux Sales team and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality campaigns, strong budget discipline and continuous improvement across marketing activity.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys the pace of FMCG or fresh produce marketing, has strong project management skills, and loves turning insight, content and execution into meaningful brand impact. The role is based in Berchem, Belgium, with three or more days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the definition, execution and monitoring of marketing activities for the Benelux market.
  • Assisting with local ATL campaign planning, production and performance monitoring.
  • Leading the execution of BTL activity across consumer touchpoints, including PR, influencer marketing, consumer projects, owned media, social media, website content, CRM, health and school programmes.
  • Coordinating with agencies and internal teams to deliver marketing assets, content and campaign materials on time and to a high standard.
  • Monitoring and reporting on campaign results, consumer and shopper research, market activity, competitor activity and digital brand performance.
  • Managing marketing budgets, including spend tracking, PO and SES creation, invoice follow-up and purchase-to-pay processes.
  • Supporting continuous improvement across marketing execution, reporting, stakeholder engagement and financial administration.

You’re a collaborative, organised and commercially minded marketer who enjoys working across multiple projects, channels and stakeholders. You bring strong attention to detail, a positive and solutions-focused mindset, and the confidence to work with agencies and internal teams to deliver great work at pace.

You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, brand, communications, digital marketing, or agency account or campaign management.
  • Experience in FMCG, food, retail or fresh produce.
  • Strong project or campaign management experience, with the ability to manage deadlines, budgets and quality delivery.
  • A good understanding of 360° marketing production, including content, design, social, video, print and digital assets.
  • Confidence working with MS Office and marketing software, with knowledge of CRM, online analytics, SEA, social media, AI or similar tools seen as an advantage.
  • Strong financial administration capability, including SAP or finance tool experience, or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Native proficiency in either Dutch or French, near-native proficiency in the other official Benelux language, and strong professional written and verbal English.
  • A Bachelor’s, Masters or graduate degree, preferably in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
