Role: Marketing Events Specialist / Marketing Manager

Location: Delhi, India

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Manager of Content Strategy & Production to lead our creative content initiatives. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the entire content lifecycle, from ideation and strategy to production and publishing. You will operate as a subject matter specialist, orchestrating complex content projects across multiple product areas (PAs) and audience segments. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on production background, capable of solving complex creative problems and delivering high-impact content that achieves key business results.

What you will be doing:

1. Content Strategy & Development (25%)

  • Contribute to the development of a long-term, multi-platform content strategy that aligns with brand objectives and audience needs.
  • Generate innovative ideas for content products and campaigns that address the needs of diverse, segmented audiences.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify content gaps, industry trends, and new storytelling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across PAs to ensure content strategy is integrated with broader marketing and product goals.

2. End-to-End Production Management (40%)

  • Lead and manage all phases of the content production process, including pre-production (briefing, scripting, storyboarding), physical production (video shoots, audio recording), and post-production (editing, motion graphics, sound design).
  • Oversee a portfolio of content and media projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest creative standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external agencies, and freelance talent involved in production.
  • Develop and refine production workflows and operational processes to increase efficiency and creative output.

3. Project Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration (20%)

  • Drive content projects from conception to completion, ensuring clear communication, milestone tracking, and outcome-oriented delivery.
  • Serve as the key liaison between creative teams and various PAs, translating complex business needs into clear creative briefs and production plans.
  • Champion creative excellence and mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

4. Problem-Solving & Innovation (15%)

  • Act as a senior creative problem-solver, tackling complex product, design, or production challenges with multiple, well-reasoned approaches.
  • Anticipate future challenges and opportunities in the content landscape, proactively developing solutions and scalable processes.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise in media design, development, writing, production techniques, and publishing platforms to guide teams to optimal solutions.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in content creation, media production, or creative marketing, with a demonstrable portfolio of work.
  • Proven experience leading the end-to-end production process for various content formats (e.g., video, podcasts, long-form articles, social media campaigns).
  • Deep understanding of content strategy, audience segmentation, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional role across multiple teams or business units.
  • A strong network of creative freelancers, agencies, and production partners.
  • Expertise in industry-standard production tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, project management software like Asana or Monday.com).
  • Experience managing production budgets and vendor relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present and defend creative concepts to senior leadership.
  • A strategic mindset with the foresight to anticipate future industry trends and their implications.
  • Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
  • Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical.
