We are seeking a Marketing Events Lead to drive the strategic planning, execution, and performance measurement of in-person tradeshows and events (across Europe). You will oversee event strategy, logistics, promotional campaigns, and post-event reporting while maintaining consistent brand representation across all engagements.

This job is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of in-person tradeshows and events, ensuring alignment with enterprise marketing goals and business unit objectives.

  • Partner with business units to define event goals and KPIs, develop booth layouts that meet event requirements, and collaborate with internal and external design teams to create graphics and messaging.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to business units on participation in tradeshows and events of varying size and scale, ensuring alignment prior to budget submission.

  • Manage enterprise-wide event schedules and execution workflows using Monday.com to provide visibility and coordination across teams.

  • Develop comprehensive marketing event briefs outlining target audience, messaging, themes, KPIs, stakeholders, tactics, and budgets.

  • Schedule and lead planning meetings with all event stakeholders to ensure alignment and readiness.

  • Coordinate pre-event customer invitations and communications with marketing automation and content teams.

  • Work with content teams to develop on-site brand and product graphics aligned with enterprise brand guidelines.

  • Develop and execute tradeshow promotional plans including PR, social media, digital campaigns, and email marketing to maximize exposure and generate sales leads.

  • Manage internal event communications including attendee email campaigns, event playbooks, training or webcast sessions, booth staffing schedules, and event support planning.

  • Coordinate with exhibit partners to manage product displays, shipments, show services, and other event logistics.

  • Partner with company store teams to procure branded apparel and promotional giveaways that optimize spend and reinforce the company brand.

  • Ensure booth setup and teardown are properly managed, either through on-site oversight or third-party supervision.

  • Manage event budgets, including billing, scope changes, and internal chargebacks.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing tradeshows, conferences, or large-scale marketing events from planning through execution and reporting.

  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Experience coordinating event logistics, vendors, and exhibit partners.

  • Ability to manage budgets and track event spend against forecasts.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across marketing, sales, and external partners.

  • High level of organization and attention to detail with strong execution skills.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Experience using project management platforms such as Monday.com or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation systems, CRM platforms, and event lead capture technologies.

  • Experience developing integrated event marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, and email channels.

  • Experience implementing lead generation and badge scanning programs tied to demand generation campaigns.

  • Familiarity with event asset management, including display inventory, warehousing, and standardized event kits.
