This job is responsible for significant contributions to the development and delivery of the overall marketing strategy for a portfolio of medium to large programs, products, and processes. Key responsibilities include using data to inform marketing program deliverables, interacting actively with multiple business partners to support priorities and project direction and using advanced logic to make complex decisions and judgements with a noticeable impact felt on functional results. Job expectations include identifying risks and opportunities and defining and delivering strategic solutions.
Marketing Strategy & Integration:
This role partners closely with marketing strategy, insights, and execution teams to frame business and marketing challenges, translate data into actionable insights, and drive cross‑functional integration to accelerate speed to market and improve brand favorability. This individual is a marketer who brings strong analytical judgment, systems thinking, and influence—helping modernize how marketing works, not just what marketing delivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Framing & Problem Definition:
Partner with marketing and business leadership to clearly define business and customer problems worth solving
Translate broad goals (e.g., growth, favorability, reputation) into focused strategic questions and priorities
Pressure test assumptions and ensure the work is solving the right problem—not just executing a request
Brand Intelligence:
Analyze multiple data sources (brand tracking, customer data, campaign performance, market signals)
Synthesize quantitative and qualitative inputs into clear strategic implications for the brand
Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities that inform strategy, investment, and messaging
Move the organization from reporting → interpretation → action
Integration & Cross Team Alignment:
Act as a strategic connector across creative, media, analytics, agency and local teams
Ensure strategies, insights, and learnings are shared, reused, and scaled—not fragmented
Drive clarity across teams on roles, inputs, outputs, and decision rights
Reduce duplication and friction by improving how teams work together
Strategic Guidance Through Execution:
Champion new ways of working that increase agility without sacrificing rigor and improves:

Help teams make smart tradeoffs when constraints arise

Required Qualifications & Experience:
10+ years of experience in marketing strategy, planning, analytics, or integrated marketing roles
Strong ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic direction
Experience working across complex, matrixed organizations
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
Comfort navigating ambiguity and shaping new ways of working
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially with senior audiences
