As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario, we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a Marketing Developer

The Marketing Developer is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing Northern’s digital experiences and marketing automation across web and email platforms. This role blends strong technical expertise with analytical insight to transform audience data into seamless, high-performing digital journeys, including dynamic landing pages and targeted automated campaigns. The Marketing Developer plays a key role in enhancing user experience, driving engagement, and supporting measurable marketing outcomes through continuous testing, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• 5–8 years of experience in web development, digital experience, or marketing automation roles.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to build, customize, and troubleshoot web pages, landing pages, and email templates.
• Advanced knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce), including hands-on experience with AMPscript and building automated campaigns and journeys.
• Experience working with APIs (REST and SOAP) to support integrations between marketing platforms, websites, and other systems.
• Deep understanding of CMS environments, with the ability to manage, optimize, and troubleshoot website functionality across platforms.
• Proven ability to develop and execute automated marketing journeys, including email workflows and supporting digital assets.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and resolve issues across web, email, and marketing technology platforms.
• Highly analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret performance data and support testing and optimization efforts.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, insights, external vendors) to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Working knowledge of CASL (Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation) and experience applying compliance requirements within email marketing and automation workflows.
• Awareness of emerging marketing technologies and tools, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Salary Range: $64,144 - $72,162
