Job Description

The successful candidate will play a key coordination role in translating Nike’s global brand direction into impactful local executions that resonate with the South African youth consumer, while ensuring all activity aligns with global brand standards. This role will work closely with internal marketing, retail, digital, creative, and buying teams, as well as key Nike stakeholders, to deliver best-in-class campaigns and brand experiences.

  • Support the execution of Nike-focused marketing strategies and campaigns within Sportscene
  • Coordinate and implement integrated marketing plans across retail, digital, social, and experiential platforms
  • Translate Nike global brand direction into locally relevant sportscene go-to-market campaigns
  • Act as a key day-to-day contact between internal teams and Nike partners to ensure seamless campaign delivery and execution
  • Assist with the planning and rollout of product launches, seasonal campaigns, and key brand moments
  • Support creative briefing and development processes to ensure alignment with Nike brand standards and objectives
  • Manage and maintain Nike marketing calendars and campaign timelines
  • Monitor campaign performance and compile post-campaign reporting and insights
  • Conduct ongoing market, trend, and competitor analysis to ensure Sportscene remains culturally relevant and commercially competitive
  • Identify innovative opportunities to grow and elevate the Nike business within Sportscene
  • Ensure consistent and premium Nike brand representation across all consumer touchpoints
  • Qualification in Marketing, Brand Management, Communications, or a related field
  • 2–4 years’ experience within marketing, brand coordination, retail marketing, or account management
  • Strong understanding of youth culture, sneaker culture, streetwear, and the South African retail landscape
  • Experience working with integrated campaigns across digital, retail, and experiential environments
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and presentation tools
