Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator III provides direct support to the Casino Marketing Manager and Marketing Department in the planning, preparation, and execution of marketing promotions, events, and departmental activities. This position coordinates materials and supplies, prepares reports and correspondence, maintains departmental records, and supports day-to-day administrative functions. This role also requires an understanding of marketing financials, promotional performance, budgets, and ROI while maintaining strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Support the preparation and coordination of casino promotions, marketing events, VIP events, mail offers, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of property promotions, events, offers, gaming operations, casino regulations, and applicable policies and procedures.
  • Monitor competitive promotional activity and provide relevant information to the Marketing team.
  • Prepare and submit operating supply requisitions and coordinate the ordering of materials and departmental supplies.
  • Create accurate and timely reports, correspondence, and other marketing-related documentation.
  • Assist with tracking and understanding budgets, reconciliations, financial performance, and ROI associated with promotions and marketing events.
  • Communicate departmental needs, updates, and project information to the Marketing Manager and other management staff.
  • Organize and maintain departmental files and records to ensure information is accurate and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate multiple projects and priorities while meeting established timelines.
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, receiving deliveries, distributing mail, preparing copies, and other general office functions.
  • Participate in team discussions and assist in translating ideas into actionable project plans.
  • Completion of a Marketing, Business, or related vocational/business school program or equivalent collegiate coursework.
  • At least 3 years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand policies, procedures, budgets, reconciliations, and promotional performance.
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively and translate concepts into executable project plans.
  • Comfortable facilitating discussions and speaking in front of groups.
  • Positive, professional, team-oriented approach with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
  • Ability to develop leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to successfully complete all required CNE training, including Guest Relations Training.
  • Must be comfortable working in a casino environment that may include exposure to smoke and loud noise.
