As a Marketing Coordinator, you will enthusiastically represent United Parks & Resorts by displaying a positive attitude, maintaining a high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job. Join us and play an important partonour incredible marketing team!

  • Support the marketingofSeaWorld andSesamePlace with the developmentofwebsite content andemailnewsletters.
  • Supportthe Partnership Managerwithfulfillingsponsorpartneragreements with allmarketing obligationsinthe form ofsocialcollaborations, email, website,partner events,etc.
  • SupportPartnership Managerin securing and executingradioand TVpromotionswhichincludepitching radio station partners, reviewing proposals, drafting agreements,andexecutingagreements.
  • Supportthe teamin partner research and pitching newor returningpartnersandsponsorship.
  • Assistthe teamin inputting SAP ticketrequests.
  • Assistin ticket mailingsand dataentryto upkeepthetrackinglogsand media values.
  • Monitor radio and TV media partnerwebsites and social mediachannelsto ensureeachpromotionalexecutionandproperuseoftheprovided theme parkbrandedassets.
  • Coordinatecreative service requestsandparksignageordersfornew creativeneedsand routingfor internalapprovals.
  • Support with creatingmarketing presentationsandrecapdecksfor partnersandevents.
  • SupporttheMarketing teamwithon-site and off-site events including radio broadcasts, grand openings,annual pass member events,community events, andspecial events.
  • Flexibleschedulethat may require early mornings, evenings,weekends,and holidays.
  • Assistin daily administrativeduties.

What it takes to succeed:

  • 1 + years of experience related to special events, hospitality industry and communication or equivalent related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, and/or combined equivalent of education and experience

  • Have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Able to meet all the requirements to drive SeaWorld vehicles

  • At least 18 years old

Competencies:

  • Exceptional organization and communications skills; able to read, write and speak English

  • Exhibits sharp, agile thinking in fast-paced situations

  • ​Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook)

  • Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to convey important ideas and concepts to different audiences clearly and persuasively, especially to senior management, top executives from key accounts, and hospitality industry leadership in group settings and able to adapt communication styles

  • Must be able to function effectively as part of a collaborative team, as well as work independently, to meet deadlines

  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple complex projects to completions while seizing emerging opportunities

  • Ability to multi-task, meet stringent deadlines, and work in a fast-paced, team selling environment

  • Positive and enthusiastic demeanor to set example to the park staff on how to champion the organization

Availability:

  • Available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours, i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and Holidays.

  • Full-Time may be scheduled up to 40 hours per week

Compensation: $20 USD Hourly
