The Marketing Coordinator position will be remote
As our Marketing Coordinator, you'll support Questex's success by:
- Drive registration for events through digital, social, partner/association channels, and more; work independently and in collaboration with the event marketing, sales and leadership teams
- Support marketing team with event and content messaging including email and social media
- Track, optimize and report on results for marketing initiatives; understand and self-motivate to work toward event registration/attendance/sponsorship/revenue goals
- Maintain event websites; work independently and in collaboration with event marketing, operations, sales and leadership teams
- Maintain the social media accounts for each event and publication within the group/as assigned. Proactively create content and use available resources to drive event registrations.
- Help curate onsite experience(s) by actively contributing to teams that design and implement sponsorship opportunities, signage, activations and more.
- Become an expert on the event and media product audiences and collaborate as necessary event marketing teams to define personas and effectively target.
- Demonstrate continued curiosity in the Life Sciences & Healthcare vertical. Immerse yourself in the content, become intimately understanding of the audience, build relationships internally and be willing offer ideas within cross functional teams
- Primary elements to execute on in this role include:
- Email marketing
- Social marketing programming and deployment
- Audience profile marketing (messaging) in the context of their role
- Understanding the message and targets for the event & digital properties
- Onsite support and execution at the event with team (e.g., Fierce Pharma Week, Fierce Biotech Week, Health Payer, etc.)
- Leverage conference speaker content for social media and website

Your Experience & Education Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, management, or related field preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or event support with client/customer-facing role preferred.
- Ad agency, events, or media experience a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail; diligent, proactive, organized, accountable, analytical, highly motivated team player, with strong project management skills.
- Quick learner of new technologies, tools, and processes with ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth work environment, while managing numerous projects under tight deadlines.
- Experience in Canva, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Omeda (email deployment) or similar marketing technologies is a plus (e.g., MailChimp, Eloqua, Active Campaign).
- Strong working knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
- Be a results-driven team player with a strong desire to exceed expectations.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50,000K to $60,000K base.
