This role establishes consistency, quality, and innovation across TriNet communications while ensuring content effectively supports demand generation, campaigns, product marketing, web experiences, sales enablement, and customer marketing. The Director operates as a hands‑on content leader, setting direction, leading through influence, and driving execution rather than people management. This role partners horizontally across marketing and business teams to scale content impact, expand into high‑impact formats, and ensure content performance is continuously measured and optimized.

What you will do

  • Define, govern, and evolve TriNet’s enterprise content strategy across marketing channels, ensuring consistency, quality, and effectiveness across all customer and prospect touchpoints

  • Lead content execution in support of demand generation campaigns, product launches, web initiatives, sales enablement, and customer marketing efforts
  • Manage the master content calendar, ensuring alignment across campaigns, launches, seasonal initiatives, and regulatory milestones
  • Expand TriNet’s content footprint into high‑impact formats such as video and podcasts, piloting new approaches and scaling successful formats
  • Partner closely with product marketing, demand generation, brand, digital, PR, and field marketing to ensure content is integrated, on‑message, and performance‑driven
  • Leverage internal leaders and subject‑matter experts to develop thought leadership content, including white papers, executive perspectives, and timely legislative or compliance updates
  • Drive horizontal coordination and influence with other content roles and marketing partners to align priorities and avoid duplication
  • Monitor content performance using engagement, pipeline, and conversion metrics; apply insights to continuously improve content effectiveness
  • Stay current on content, storytelling, and digital engagement best practices to ensure TriNet communications remain relevant, differentiated, and impactful
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into high‑quality, executable content
  • Deep expertise in content planning, editorial governance, and multi‑channel content activation
  • Ability to influence and align cross‑functional partners without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong editorial judgment
  • Data‑informed mindset, with experience monitoring content performance and adjusting approach based on results
  • Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and adaptability in a fast‑paced, evolving business environment
