About the Opportunity

As the 1:1 Marketing Consultant, you’ll take the lead in shaping and delivering highly personalised marketing communications across RACV’s Insurance, Roadside, and Trades portfolio.

In this role, you’ll design and execute integrated 1:1 marketing initiatives that spark engagement, accelerate conversion, and drive measurable growth across acquisition, cross-sell, retention, and win-back. Powered by data driven insights, sophisticated audience segmentation, and performance analysis, you’ll champion a culture of continuous optimisation, refining campaigns, unlocking new opportunities, and creating best in class customer experiences across RACV’s 1:1 marketing ecosystem.

You’ll play a pivotal role in helping our Marketing team deliver exceptional outcomes. Here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the design of compelling omnichannel 1:1 marketing communication experiences, including end-to-end journey design and high-impact stand-alone campaigns.
  • Coordinate the delivery of omnichannel 1:1 marketing activity across the Insurance, Roadside and Trades portfolio, ensuring outcomes align with 1:1 Marketing & Communications objectives, stakeholder expectations, and divisional and enterprise goals. This includes audience targeting, opportunity sizing, defining business rules, messaging and communication plans, campaign and journey design, delivery, and performance measurement.
  • Leverage data and insights to uncover opportunities and drive continuous improvement, optimising in-market campaigns and customer journeys.
  • As required, support divisional operational cadence by contributing ad hoc strategic insights into nominated forums.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline or equivalent industry experience desirable.
  • 5+ years in business to consumer discipline with a strong emphasis on communications strategy, 1:1 marketing / journey design, preferably in a large matrix structured corporate organisation.
  • Proven ability in designing personalised, omni-channel communication journeys, and working with a cross-functional team to implement and continuously optimise the journeys.
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate business challenges and direct outcomes through effective planning.
  • Proven experience in leading and coordinating stakeholder groups in dynamic environments to achieve positive business outcomes.
  • Strong presentation, communication and written skills, and financial acumen.
  • Highly effective project management skills.
  • Understanding of agile project management tools (Jira and Confluence).
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills and good application of all other Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience using design tools, including Figma, Miro or similar.
  • Experience with Marketing automation tools including Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
