Your Role

The Member Marketing team is focused on increasing member engagement and satisfaction by educating members about their benefits, encouraging utilization and reminding them to actively participate in their health journey, while creating loyalty and enhancing the member experience. The Marketing Communications Specialist, Consultant will report to the Director, Member Marketing. In this role you will support Member Experience and loyalty efforts.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross-functional teams across multiple business units to align on priorities and develop comprehensive communications strategies
  • Develop communication programs that incorporate a full spectrum of tools and tactics (from traditional letters to digital and social media content)
  • Creates communication through the eyes of the customer – developing holistic experiences and meaningful touchpoints
  • Use data to measure success and continually optimize results (open rates, response rates, return mail, list health, etc.)
  • Use communication to mitigate risks through crisis management, constituent engagement, and customer service
  • Lead end-to-end project management of member communication initiatives, from intake and planning through execution and post-launch evaluation
  • Manage complex, multi-channel communication programs across multiple lines of business (e.g., MAPD, IFP), ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across stakeholders (marketing, product, operations, analytics, compliance), ensuring clear roles, timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and workflows using tools such as Workfront to track progress and manage dependencies
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers; proactively drive resolution and escalate issues as needed to maintain delivery timelines
  • Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications to ensure transparency and alignment
  • Coordinate intake and prioritization of communication requests, balancing competing priorities and ensuring resources are allocated effectively
  • Ensure communications are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with brand, regulatory, and business requirements
  • Partner with analytics teams to define success metrics and incorporate performance insights into future project planning
  • Translate business objectives and member insights into actionable project plans and communication deliverables

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience in marketing communications, marketing project management, or similar
  • Requires proficiency with project management tools such as Workfront, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar; experience with Adobe Experience Platform a plus
  • Requires strong stakeholder management with ability to influence and align cross-functional partners
  • Requires analytical mindset with ability to use data and insights to inform planning and prioritization
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., healthcare) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies; Scrum Master experience preferred

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
