Job Description

The Bridge Inc is looking for a Marketing & Comms Officer who believes in what people can
do — not what they can’t.

Every day, people with disability across Victorian communities are discovering new skills, building confidence, finding independence, and creating meaningful connections. Your voice, your creativity, and your storytelling can help shine a light on these hopeful moments and inspire others to believe in what’s possible.

We want this role to work for you as much as it works for us. You can spread your hours over 4–5 days in a way that suits your life and enjoy a hybrid work style that blends time in the office, onsite, and at home.

  • Helping us build and grow our brand in the community
  • Running fun, meaningful campaigns across digital platforms and social media
  • Creating great content — stories, posts, videos, newsletters, all the good stuff
  • Managing our socials and finding ways to keep them fresh and engaging
  • Getting involved in events, capturing highlights, and showing off the impact we make

If you’re nodding along so far, here’s what we’re looking for in the role:

  • Experience in marketing or comms (through study or real‑world work — we’re flexible)
  • You can write clearly, creatively, and confidently
  • You’re great at creating content people actually want to read/watch
  • Comfortable using WordPress, Canva, and the usual Microsoft Office stuff
  • You’ve spent some time running socials or digital campaigns
  • You know your way around basic email marketing
  • You’re happy helping out with events and getting things done on the day
  • Bonus skills: Adobe, HubSpot, Monday.com, photography or simple video editing
  • Extra bonus: experience in disability, NDIS, or healthcare — but definitely not a must

Join an environment where you'll feel valued, supported, and inspired to make a difference with a passionate, supportive team making a real difference every day.

  • Access up to $18,500 in Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging
  • Support your work/life balance with flexible working arrangements
  • An extra day of leave in your birthday month
  • Connect to a range of services with Sonder EAP including counselling, nutritional, medical and financial professionals
  • Maintain your health and wellbeing with discounts to your private health insurance
  • Start your new role with a comprehensive induction and training
  • Be part of a team that cares about your ongoing professional development
  • Opportunities to build your skills and gain new experiences across the organisation

We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, supported and able to thrive. We warmly welcome people from all backgrounds and life experiences to apply. If
you need any assistance or adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know — we’re here to help.
