Job Description

Milacron is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist (Trade Shows & Events) to join our team in Batavia, Ohio. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing trade shows and customer events that drive brand visibility, lead generation, and customer engagement while ensuring measurable business outcomes.

Work You’ll Do:

• Plan and execute trade shows, conferences, and customer events from concept through post-event follow-up, including timelines, logistics, and vendor coordination.
• Partner with Marketing Managers and Sales teams to align event objectives, messaging, and lead generation strategies.
• Manage booth logistics, event materials, shipping, on-site setup, and overall event experience to ensure consistent and high-quality brand representation.
• Coordinate integrated pre-event, live event, and post-event marketing campaigns, including email, digital, and lead nurture activities.
• Track and analyze event performance metrics, including lead generation, pipeline contribution, and return on investment (ROI), and provide actionable recommendations.
• Oversee vendor relationships, budgets, and contracts to ensure cost-effective and high-quality event execution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting best practices and identifying opportunities to enhance event strategy and effectiveness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless communication, planning, and execution across all event-related activities.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign support, or marketing coordination, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end event logistics and execution.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams.
• Familiarity with CRM and/or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for lead tracking and follow-up.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting B2B trade shows and large-scale industry events preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret event performance data and translate insights into action preferred.
• Knowledge of event technologies, including event management platforms, lead capture tools, and virtual/hybrid event solutions preferred.
• Experience managing event budgets and negotiating with vendors preferred.
• Ability to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering exceptional brand experiences preferred.
• Willingness to travel for on-site event support as needed.
• Experience applying AI-enabled tools to automate tasks, improve workflows, or enhance marketing operations effectiveness preferred.
