Responsibilities

Reporting to the Asia Pacific Head of Strategy, Marketing & Communications, the Marketing and Communications Manager will be the sole leader for marketing and communications effort in Japan market. He/She will be a valuable member of the Regional Strategy and Marcom team, which currently consist of 6 other team members.

The role will also drive a number of campaign and events across Asia-Pacific.

Qualifications

A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and minimum 6 years' experience in communications, marketing, public relations, and business development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Experience in journalism, public relations, media relations and corporate communications
• Demonstrated experience effectively work cross-functionally across the organisation
• Basic understanding of Creative Suite software (in particular Photoshop, Adobe InDesign) is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
