What We Need

CORPAY is currently seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our International Vehicle Payments (IVP) division. This role sits within our Global Marketing team and is based in our Melbourne office.

The Marketing & Communications Manager will play a key role in shaping and delivering clear, credible, and consistent communications that strengthen our brand and support growth across the customer lifecycle. The role brings together brand positioning, PR, thought leadership, and content to build trust, authority, and relevance in the B2B fuel card market. This is a senior individual contributor role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. It’s ideal for someone with a journalism or editorial background who enjoys translating complex industry topics into compelling, insight-led stories that resonate with customers, partners, media, and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the APAC Marketing Director, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, and partnerships to ensure alignment and consistency across all communications and marketing initiatives.

How We Work

As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be expected to work in a hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home) environment

Role Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve brand positioning and core messaging across key audiences and segments.
  • Develop strong proof points through case studies, insights, results, and customer stories.
  • Ensure messaging is consistent, differentiated, and evidence-based across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Lead the PR and earned media strategy in partnership with the external media agency
  • Identify and develop thought leadership opportunities on fleet, fuel, payments, and mobility trends.
  • Shape executive narratives, commentary, bylines, and media responses to build credibility and authority.
  • Develop and manage an always-on content engine across blogs, articles, reports, customer stories, and insights pieces.
  • Work closely with internal cross function teams to ensure content supports acquisition, retention, and sales enablement
  • Maintain high editorial standards, ensuring all content is accurate, well-structured and on-brand.
  • Support speaking opportunities, sponsorships, and industry engagement that reinforce scale, trust, and leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 7+ years’ experience in marketing communications, PR, journalism or editorial roles in B2B organisation(s).
  • Formal qualifications in journalism, communications, media, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience working with senior leaders to shape narratives and thought leadership.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a sharp editorial eye.
  • Ability to translate complex or technical topics into clear, engaging, and credible content.
  • Strong understanding of PR, earned media, and reputation management.
  • Confident managing multiple stakeholders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with agencies and external contributors
  • Experience in fuel, fleet, payments, mobility or regulated industries is a plus!
