Our client is a dynamic and growing marketing and communications agency based in Bali, specializing in the financial services sector. With a passionate team of 30 professionals, they serve a diverse portfolio of local and international clients from innovative startups to established financial institutions. IBMC is assisting them in finding a hands-on leader to elevate their financial PR and marketing capabilities, drive exceptional client outcomes, and inspire their talented team.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership position for an experienced and ambitious marketing agency professional with a strong background in financial communications. You will be responsible for the strategic direction and execution of all financial PR and marketing campaigns across the agency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success within a marketing agency environment and the creative vision to lead groundbreaking campaigns. You will be instrumental in shaping the agency's capabilities, ensuring the quality of delivery that Western companies expect, and mentoring a team of marketing and PR professionals.

• Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive, multi-channel marketing and PR strategies for our financial services clients.
• Serve as the senior strategic lead on key accounts, building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
• Provide expert counsel to clients on brand positioning and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all client deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, providing the strategic insight, proactive communication, and measurable results expected by Western companies.
• Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative and impactful creative content for a variety of platforms, including digital, social media, and traditional media.
• Transform complex financial topics into compelling and accessible narratives for diverse audiences.
• Drive the creative direction of marketing campaigns, from initial brainstorming to final execution, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand voice for our clients.
• Stay at the forefront of industry trends to bring fresh and creative ideas to the table, pushing the boundaries of traditional financial marketing.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing and PR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, encouraging their professional growth and development.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key financial journalists, editors, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
• Develop and pitch compelling story ideas to secure high-quality media coverage for our clients.
• Oversee the creation of press releases, media kits, bylined articles, and other press materials.
• Play a key role in new business development, including lead generation, proposal writing, and pitching to prospective clients.
• Identify opportunities to expand our services with existing clients and contribute to the overall growth of the agency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a marketing role within a fast-paced agency environment is essential.
• A strong portfolio of successful marketing campaigns.
• Demonstrable experience working with and meeting the high expectations of Western companies in terms of strategic thinking, proactive communication, and quality of deliverables.
• Exceptional creative abilities with a track record of developing engaging and effective content for marketing and social media campaigns.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasive.
• The ideal candidate is an experienced expat already residing in Bali or someone eager and prepared to relocate to Bali
