Job Purpose

We're looking for a creative and proactive Marketing Communications Executive. You'll help bring our brand to life through compelling content, engaging campaigns and impactful communications.

You'll work across internal & external communications, social media, digital marketing and content creation, helping us connect with colleagues, clients, partners and communities.

We're looking for someone who can spot a great story, write excellently and create engaging content around it, from idea to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of marketing and communications campaigns across multiple channels.
• Create engaging content for digital, social, PR, internal communications and marketing materials.
• Manage and grow the company's social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, reporting and trend monitoring.
• Produce multimedia content, including video, photography and visual assets for campaigns and communications.
• Design branded materials using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
• Support PR and media activity through story development, press releases and stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to internal communications, employee engagement initiatives and business-wide events.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to optimise campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.

Experience & Knowledge

• Previous experience in a marketing, communications, PR or content-focused role.
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
• Strong proofreading and editing ability with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience managing business social media channels.
• Demonstrable experience creating engaging digital content.
• Strong interviewing and storytelling skills.
• Ability to identify compelling stories and turn them into engaging content.
• Experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator.
• Video creation and editing experience.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Good understanding of social media trends and digital engagement.
• Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Journalism, media, marketing, communications or PR qualification.
• Experience in a corporate, professional services, insurance or legal environment.
• Experience with analytics and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of SEO and website content management systems.
• Experience with email marketing platforms.
