Marketing Communications Coordinator

Role Overview

We're looking for a creative, hands-on communications professional to support marketing communications, trade shows and collateral development for our commercial teams. This role helps our brand show up consistently across trade show assets, brochures, ads and other customer-facing materials. It also manages content on Ingevity's newly launched website, keeping it current as the brand and business evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Communications and Tradeshow Support

• Create marketing materials, including brochures, sell sheets, ads and trade show graphics, in line with commercial priorities and brand standards.
• Coordinate trade show logistics, including booth materials, signage, shipping and vendor deadlines.
• Manage collateral projects from intake through commercial review, keeping information, approvals and timelines on track.
• Use Adobe InDesign and Illustrator to produce and update collateral, and coordinate with a freelance graphic designer and print and delivery vendors as needed.

Website and Digital Content

• Maintain and update content on Ingevity's new WordPress website, including adding pages, product updates, news and events.
• Coordinate final website launch tasks and post-launch cleanup as needed.
• Pull monthly website analytics reports and share with the Sr. Manager Marketing to inform commercial marketing strategy.
• Draft social media posts that support commercial teams and their products.

Brand Stewardship and Collaboration

• Maintain consistency of brand voice and visual identity across all digital and marketing communications.
• Partner with Marketing Sr. Manager and commercial teams to turn marketing priorities into effective materials.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in communications, marketing or related roles.
• Working proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, including the ability to develop and update marketing collateral and production-ready files.
• Practical experience managing website content in WordPress or a similar CMS.
• Experience pulling reports from Google Analytics or similar tools.
• Excellent project management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with external vendors such a printers and trade show suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SEO best practices
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot, Marketo).
• Background in B2B marketing and trade show coordination.
• Experience supporting social media content calendars.

Work Environment and Travel

• Department: Communications
• Reports to: Sr. Manager, Marketing
• Location: On-site at our North Charleston, SC, headquarters; hybrid model: 3 days per week in office (Tues – Thurs) required
• Travel requirements: Low; maximum 1-2 trade shows per year
