Are you a creative, detail-oriented marketing professional who enjoys bringing ideas to life through compelling content, engaging visuals, and digital storytelling? Pyrotek is looking for a Marketing Communications Associate to join our Global Marketing team at our Corporate Office in Spokane, Washington.

This is a hands-on, generalist marketing role offering the opportunity to work across a variety of creative projects, including graphic design, copywriting, video editing, social media, website content, and trade show support. You'll help translate complex engineered products and technical solutions into clear, engaging messaging that connects with customers across global industrial markets.

What You'll Do

You'll be involved in a wide range of marketing communications activities, including:

• Create & Design: Develop visually engaging print and digital materials, including product brochures, technical data sheets, case studies, advertisements, presentations, trade show graphics, and signage.
• Write & Tell Stories: Write, edit, and proofread website content, articles, press releases, newsletters, email campaigns, social media posts, and product literature. Turn technical information into clear, compelling content.
• Video & Multimedia: Edit videos featuring products, applications, customer stories, recruiting initiatives, company events, and social media content. Assist with photography and video shoots at company facilities and customer sites.
• Social Media & Digital Marketing: Plan, create, and schedule social media content, primarily for LinkedIn and YouTube. Monitor engagement and help evaluate campaign performance.
• Website Management: Update and maintain pyrotek.com, including product pages, news, literature downloads, and other content. Assist with SEO improvements and website analytics.
• Trade Shows & Events: Support industry trade shows and conferences through booth graphics, promotional materials, literature, shipping coordination, and pre-show marketing.
• Global Team Support: Partner with sales teams and regional offices around the world to provide marketing materials, presentations, and brand guidance.
• Organization & Project Coordination: Maintain marketing libraries, creative assets, templates, and design files while tracking project timelines, deadlines, and basic marketing metrics.

As you build your knowledge of Pyrotek's products, industries, and brand standards, you'll have opportunities to take ownership of larger projects and develop greater independence.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
• Previous experience in marketing, graphic design, video production, or content creation is preferred but not required. Internships, freelance work, and substantial academic projects are welcome.
• Exposure to B2B, industrial, or manufacturing marketing is a plus.
• A portfolio of design, writing, or video work samples is required.

Creative & Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
• Familiarity with website content management systems, LinkedIn, other social media platforms, and email marketing tools.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• An eye for visual detail, including typography, formatting, layout, and brand consistency.
• Ability to accept creative feedback and make revisions efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Work Environment & Travel

• Location: Pyrotek Corporate Office in downtown Spokane, Washington.
• Work Arrangement: This is an in-office position.
• Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel, up to 10%, including potential visits to company facilities and customer locations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport and driver's license.

Additional Information

The minimum and maximum hourly range for this full-time position is $26.45 - $28.85 ($55k - $60k) + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in this posted role reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits.
